I thought something wasn't right when reading it. Sounds like a bit of a tongue twister "home games unbeaten league run".

I'll try find the stats though.

Very impressive record which will be tested by Leicester. The fact that we are still unbeaten in Covid times makes it even more of an achievement. Long way still to go to beat Chelsea who I think went 84 games?

Anyway let's get Man City out of the way first

Interesting game. The last time I watched Leicester play Liverpool at the King Power we got absolutely tonked.

Perhaps Liverpool's standards have slipped a little since then, but I can't predict what you'll get from Leicester. We're right in the middle of our biggest injury crisis since returning to the Premier League, which means no consistency in team selection. Brendan, however, seems to be getting the most out of limited resources and somehow we're second.

So I can't predict who we'll pick and how we'll play against Liverpool.

Both teams seem to be in the same boat regarding injuries then in that case.

I wouldn't want Vardy vs Matip and Gomez, that's a best case scenario if Matip even makes it to that game as it is. Anybody else I wouldn't fancy either.

Chelsea under Mourinho was 86 games. That wouldn't be broken for another 12 months yet though.

Well I say 12 months, could be wrong depending on Covid.

I can see us getting to 85 and then there will be huge media hype and we will blow it. Probably to Maureen's Spurs.

It was like the winning games on the bounce record last season. We had a run of 17 and 18 and only equaled City record.

I hope if anybody breaks the unbeaten run, it's not Spurs. Just for the sake of the creaming that would come on this site afterwards.

_________
Then expect caant Coote or Atkinson to stop us breaking Chelsea record. It won't be easy anyway without the fans at Anfield.

No fans hasn't seem to cause too much issue in terms of results so far this season which is always pleasing to see anyway. Important to keep grinding out wins.

For some weird reason I feel very confident of this game? We used to be your bogey team. I think we did the double over you one season and still went down? Must check on that, maybe early 80s?

It was the season when Leicester broke the unbeaten record in 81 I believe. Think the fixture at Leicester finished 2-0 whereas the reverse at Anfield was 2-1. I think you did subsequently get relegated that season as well.

Frustrating to lose the record at a time when Leicester weren't that good either, no disrespect intended. Remember it like it was yesterday. One of your lads scored an own goal on the day as well I remember.
