Yeh I have always thought the average Yankee was pretty dumb, and 60 million voting for Trump confirm that.

If Trump wins the election then the problem with America isn't Donald Trump.

I agree but i don't think we're too far behind them, looking at our recent voting choices.

It's obvious that some voters are opting for Trump simply because of the alternatives served up to them. That's pretty similar to here in the UK.

I don’t think we’ve anywhere near the same level of problems as the US in terms or polarisation tbh

I`m 72 and still feel very active. Not so much with the age thing.

I could still give most a run for their money on a night out with the boys.

Agreed Sandy. Fortunately we’ll never get to the stage where people feel it’s necessary to board up shops or stock up on guns though

I think the issue about thick leaders is Politicians are getting their messages and policy dumbed down too much which treats the electorate like idiots. We are guilty of this here too in the UK. Agree with the comment about UK is like USA lite. A leadership race shouldn’t be a popularity contest. But Trump and Boris. I mean, come on. That can’t be the best we’ve got. If the opposition isn’t strong then what we get will always be less. I blame the parties for putting these two idiots in charge. I don’t necessarily prefer an alternative either. And I blame the opposition for making it possible for the other party to win a majority. About the US election I hope the democrats can do it, not that I’m a Biden supporter, I just can’t stand Trump.

Trump has spent four years talking total bollox, yet still 60 million voted for him. That is why I said the electorate us dumb. Much the same has happened over here with Johnson.

They’re not dumb. The he just hate liberalism, socialism, left leaning politics. For most, it’s not about which candidate they’re voting for, but rather the party. No matter who the Dems put up, a vast majority of those 60m gop voters aren’t gonna switch. They hate the Dems and their policies. Doesnt matter what a gibberish idiot Trump is. He’s republican so he gets their vote.

Sad, but true.

Trump is awful, and Joe not much better.

Sandy.

PA postal votes allowed to come in to midnight, but in other states the cut off is 8pm.

It's like UK election polling station closes at 10pm, but One region takes postal votes to 2am.

It opens a legal door for trump, who looks like winning PA any way.
