Oh yeah
During lockdown one I was working from home.
I'm a teacher, so we were setting work and getting the students to email it in and we marked it.
Lot of time sat at a computer marking kids work.
Then a couple of days before I returned to work, we were opening classes in a limited capacity for older year groups, I got rushed to hospital as a blood test showed my body contained practically zero fully formed whiteblood cells.
Was then diagnosed with leukaemia and had seven weeks of in hospital treatment before I was discharged to continue treatment as an outpatient.
Had to be rushed back to hospital for a week after I picked up a nasty infection from my picc line, however since then my life is regular trips to the hospital for ongoing treatment while been pretty much in full lockdown since the first one anyway as my immune system is still a long way from recovery.
So to be honest, second lockdown isint exactly a massive change for me...

sorry to hear about you being back on furlough Sheriff mate.
agree on the golf courses, absolute joke. Could go for a walk with a randomer round a golf course but i cant play golf around one with someone from my household
I’ve been working at home since March. Was pretty good during summer/spring where I could go for runs or walks to take break from work and being inside my house all day. But Not particularly looking forward to winter with it being cold out, and nothing open on weekends to get out the house, so can imagine by end of this lockdown I’ll be pretty fed up with being in same house practically all week and weekend!

Basically the same.
I found it quite nice finishing work at 5.30 and going for a run straight away without my tube commute in between. I do miss the routine of going into london though.
Going forwards I’d like to split wfh and going into the office.

THIS
I am sticking a 1.5 hour meeting in my calendar and going to play tennis outside. Everyone should get outside for at least an hour. If your boss is not ok with it, then tell them you have permission from an expert (me). You can work an extra hour when it's dark.
