The opening fixture a few years ago before we we're relegated. I think Luna scored the winning goal. Arsenal fans furiously chanting " Spend some f u. c. *1 n g money!!" at Wenger. Claude losing his mind on AFTV🤣🤣
Bit random but a milk cup quarter final in 85 or 86 at highbury. Drew at VP so replay (no pen shootouts in those days). First chance in years ti get to Wembley. Lost 1-2. Gutted
Only good news is i got my letter printed in the programme. Still got programme in loft, has a pic of Niall Quinn in Gooner yellow out jumping a villa defender in cover

Definitely my favourite. We were huffing and puffing, goalless and couldn't find a way past Friedel. Then after an hour an already injured captain Fabregas came on, scored 2 worldies and limped off with a worsened injury. 3-0 the final score.

If I’m remembering rightly, Pires scored that beautiful goal where he lobbed it over their CB’s head then finished from an angle? 😍

That match was in the same season but that was at Villa Park around March 2002. David Seaman saved a pen in that game as well
Wiltord scored just after HT and then Henry came up with 2 late goals when it seemed the game was slipping away. Our home form at the time was dodgy so I was resigned to a defeat before Henry saved us
