Marcelo's dilemma

Yes let’s just chuck away 2 and half years of training to play like we do.

Change tactics and good chance we get relegated.

We haven’t played bad, things went against us in both games.

We’ll finish mid table

We’re up against much better opposition who’ll expose & take advantage of any gaps we leave. I think we’ll be mid table come end of the season, but shipping 4 goals each game needs to stop.

Leeds will get done a few times this season I'd have thought, but they'll win more than a few too if they keep their confidence.

It's early days but Fulham, Shef Utd, WBA and Burnley look bang in trouble either way so if Leeds stay up and play good football that's a great season.

Yeah you will, comfortably.

What a lot of people need to realise is that 70% of teams in the Premier League are used to soaking up pressure and hitting on the counter as they're not as good as the other 30% of teams who are good enough to keep the ball for long periods. They've mastered the art of conceding possession and territory but being deadly on the counter. Your style will be better suited against the big teams as you'll fight fire with fire, something they're rarely used to, but the "smaller teams" will just look to pick you off when the time is right.

This is the equivalent of people at the match shouting "get rid" when we're defending. Yes we'll get caught out every so often, but it's integral to the way we play.

As LIW says, we're 2.5 years down the line, we aren't changing.

Last two sides we've turned out wouldn't have been our strongest last season once we get everyone back we will be a match for anyone, when we get battered and outplayed i will worry,

If we change tack now, we will fall apart. The last two games have been tough, Yes we have been unlucky and yes we have made mistakes. These were two established premier league sides, this is a hard division and there are no free rides. This season is about establishing ourselves there will be bumps and it will hurt at times. I fully expect a mid table finish, there is no need to press the panic button and no need to throw away everything the team has achieved. Bielsa will not change his tactics dramatically and nor should he, that would not work at this stage with this team.

We’ve missed Rodrigo last few games

That lad is serious quality

I know we fluctuate in formation at times. I wouldn’t change anything. I have every faith in the manager and his tactics

But we are without Rodrigo, Phillips, Llorente...These are potentially core players - at least in value.

I still think if Bamford's disallowed goal had stood the game would have turned our way similar to Leicester had Bamford scored after 1 minute that result would also likely to have been different as the opposition wouldn't have had the confidence they got from going 2 nil up in both games. Its all ifs and maybe's but with a full strength first team we are at least a mid table side so no need for the doom and gloom at this stage.

Some of you were talking up 4th for Leeds only few weeks ago? Even a couple of you said, Leeds will finish higher than Spurs.
Good football doesn’t mean FIFA football in real life! Norwich last season played very pleasing football and they got relegated!
Good football is getting results and putting points in the board.
It’s not that simple in this league and Leeds are finding out now how hard the league is!

More, appreciate the pep talk but most of us have seen the PL before mate so we get how it works

You will always find a few fans get carried away, which after 19 years is bound to happen

The majority of our fans, perhaps the less vocal etc have openly said the aim is to avoid relegation and if you review Twitter polls etc that is evidenced

Don’t let a few over excited and perhaps cocky fans create a perception.

I feel exactly the same on all of the above.

We are 8 games in. We won’t finish in the top 4 but then again don’t be surprised if Spurs lose their way under Jose. The were awful yesterday.

Exactly, Koch and Cooper being pulled all over the pitch.

That’s the idea. Exploiting Bielsa’s system, leaving huge gaps for players to run into.
