Yeh never quite get why you cannot be optimistic and happy when supporting your team. Seems pointless being miserable all the time. I have seen happier supporters supporting Southend, than I have seen supporters with my own team this season.

Winston, not sure why posters don`t get, if they don`t insult me, they won`t in the main get filtered. I can handle banter, and I enjoy it, but I will not stand for personal insults. And why should I?
Even today, I have had to filter a poster who for some strange reason, called me a senile old keent for absolutely no reason.
For those grizzling about being filtered, they use much the same language, not like I haven`t unfiltered them all at some time or the other, but they just cannot help themselves, and always have to post insults towards me as if it is a badge of honour.

Perhaps it's the abuse that comes with the reply that leads to being filtered.
Plenty of things that go on that this site wasn't designed for and Sandy's behaviour wouldn't feature highly on that imo.

Yeah, I would quite enjoy sandy if he wasn't such a biiitch and filtered everyone. Literally as soon as people prove a comment wrong, he filters. It isn't what the site is designed for and I think admins get it wrong by allowing him to filter everyone and not allow a right to reply.

I've disagreed with him and posted evidence to back up my view, and he hasn't filtered me.
Admittedly, he hasn't accepted he might be wrong, but hardly the crime of the century.

Winston, not sure why posters don`t get, if they don`t insult me, they won`t in the main get filtered. I can handle banter, and I enjoy it, but I will not stand for personal insults. And why should I?
Even today, I have had to filter a poster who for some strange reason, called me a senile old keent for absolutely no reason.
For those grizzling about being filtered, they use much the same language, not like I haven`t unfiltered them all at some time or the other, but they just cannot help themselves, and always have to post insults towards me as if it is a badge of honour.
All the ones now filtered, have been filtered and unfiltered two or three times, but they will not be ever getting unfiltered again. They have had more than enough chances to try to post without bile and insults.

He literally filtered me once for providing a link that showed that Prem TV deal is separate from the overseas one and isn't all encompassing. I didn't write any of my own text, just provided the link that proved him wrong and I was filtered.

Fine, I've no idea what happened - but in this thread you've already been insulting to him, so I can see why he's defensive.
I'm sure there are examples of what you claim, but generally what I see is people jumping onto his threads - as with many others - to post abuse, take the piiss and generally ruin any discussion going on.
That's not what the site is for either.
