That was actually our most exciting performance in weeks. And it was still awful to watch.

Watched the first half, hoof ball at its finest.
United lucky not to concede a pen first half.
Yeah Deniz did very well.
That was a definitely a penalty by the way. Connolly is an absolute dumpling and his penalty summed him up. And it summed us up as a team that two of our centre halves, and the two with the least technical ability in our team, took penalties last night.
It's a hard, hard watch at the minute and I can't say I'm looking forward to the next game.
I was bemoaning to my mate that seemingly our two best players are both goalkeepers. Great performance by Mehmet, particularly in the shoot-out.
And I know people have already said it but it needs to be said again - Connolly is one of the absolute worst players I've ever seen at Tannadice and I've seen Stuart Duff. Both the penalty he should have conceded and the penalty he attempted to take were laughable by schoolboy standards. Hell, that wasn't even women's football standard.
The technique of leaning back as far as possible when taking the penalty was astonishing. I've never seen a player attempt a clearance when taking a spot kick. He could have been on the six-yard line and it'd have gone over.
Was also amazed to see McMullan get pelters on Twitter during the game. Sure his final ball was mostly disappointing but he'd the only player in 5 games that's bothered to run with the ball, take people on and attempt to set up chances. Deserves a run to shake some of the rust off and we might actually start scoring again.
Connolly is laughing all the way to the bank. Imagine giving him a contract extension. About as bad as signing Julian Alsford, Darren Patterson or Armand Benneker.
Who were we linked with that you would have liked us to sign? I'll start with Rob Steinar, Karl Connolly & Magnus Kilstadt.
