Magyar is a strange language: you probably pronounce his surname "Smith" or something like that.
I think 'sz' is just pronounced 's' in Hungarian. So it's probably along the lines of "Soboslai".
If there are people that are unhappy about signing a backup to Bruno I'm sure they'll have a field day with a back up for his back up

I think you're right. I know that the common surname "Nagy" is pronounced "Noj" and that the brilliantly named city "Szombathely" is something like "Som-ba-thej". In Budapest, as in Moscow and St Petersburg, I could have happily spent a whole afternoon on the metro just listening to the stations being announced.
