In limbo at the moment with still no official takeover and the manager’s job vacant. Steve Cooper’s comments suggested he might be interested. Rooney’s hat is certainly in the ring and even Benitez’s response left a little bit of ambiguity. I would love to know what is going on behind the scenes.

Let the shackles off. For Rooney there isn’t anything to lose so he may as well give it a bit of the old gung ho. Looking forward to it.

I don’t think Yman will be doing any assisting, he has a serious injury. It will have to be Paterson who assists the great Chris Martin.

I really feel like this is the time for the likes of Conor Doyle, Ben Pringle, Tom Naylor and maybe even Chrissy Porter to show the new manager what they've got and try and get us up this table.

Really very optimistic with the right approach we can kick on and get out of this league.

The three other clubs we have recently played in PO semi finals are all in the Premier League as is Southampton who we played in 2007. Millwall and Blackburn who we have also played in the PO semis, are in the Championship so Hull's fate is not typical, in fact the typical case is that you end up in the Premier League.

I wasn't trying to say what is or isn't typical, just that ATM there is nothing to say we won't go down.

We all keep saying that the team us too good to go down, our league position, however, would suggest otherwise.

I would refute Spart's conclusion though. If you are in a semi final, it is undeniable that three teams will definitely NOT end up in the Premier League.

Behave, Scouse. Show some respect.

It will be interesting to see the style of play today. Hopefully a little more adventurous. Come on you Rams 🐏🐏🐏
