It is a bit damning how many clean sheets we've had since he was frozen out. I'm sure mf will provide tons of stats/expert opinions proving it's all about Mendy & nothing to do with Christensen-less defense at all
He might be one of those players who's simply not cut out for the PL. His main two issues are making nervous decisions & dealing with physically imposing forwards, two very PL things. In a slower league he might be in his element cos he is a good player, we've seen it in period & we've certainly seen it in the Bundesliga.
I will say I expect Frank to bring him back in at some point, and when he does he HASSSS to perform! This season is his ultimate acid test, if Lampard (a manager who's given him more than a fair shake) can't get him up to standard it's time to let go... c'est la vie.

Because its his turn on the outcast list for Lamps. Then when he brings him back and he does well, like we all knew he would, then lamps gets the praise. Genius mega brain smarts.
