You dont understand PEH. Today he sat very deep but ordinarily he presses the ball higher up and its Sisokko who just sits. PEH is far from a bus parking dream, he reads the game in CM and breaks it up, pressing it rather than waiting for it. Against the poorer teams it's the Sisokko position that needs looking at because hes the one who sits and works hard defensively while offering little else. If we had a decent CM who had more to.his game then our transition would be even better.

I agree he's had a very good start and in a position Spurs needed sorted. My point is I've never seen him performing well when his team are supposed to be on the front foot, in most part due to me never watching him play in a team on the front foot. Obviously you've seen games when you've been on the front foot and he's performed, I haven't. I've only watched you agisnt the top teams since he's signed and he's played well in those few games.
Its a valid point TOOR but I think Jose needs to starting playing lo celso from the start opposed to Sissoko in the games where we are less on the back foot. Sissoko type player was perfect for todays game.

Yeah I agree with that.
We were all over united and Højbjerg was fantastic and got a lovely assist, he's not pirlo but he's not sissoko he's very comfortable on the ball

it's not poor management. It's a defensive approach.
PEH has the mobility and reading to press more aggressively than Sisokko. So you dont just sit and wait for the ball you hunt it far more which is what he tends to do. Yesterday he was more passive, mainly keeping an eye on KDB. Sisokko is more of an covering CM, tracking running and covering in behind full backs etc
It's a very decent defensive balance but at the costs of possession as Sisokko is bad with the ball at his feet and doesnt make himself available enough.

I agree he's had a very good start and in a position Spurs needed sorted.
