Personally I think it’s not until after the Christmas/New Years fixtures that you can start laying a claim as title challengers.

Personally I think it’s not until after the Christmas/New Years fixtures that you can start laying a claim as title challengers.

AFTP, I have a funny feeling we will win the title this season, I don't know why but I just think we will.
I’ve seen nothing to suggest we’ll win the title or any other trophy this season, but as you say, time will tell.
The underdog / not challenging tag will suit Jose - no surprise here!

I’ve said all along let’s see where we are in the new year, 1/2 the season will be gone, safely through as group winner of the EL, semis of Carabo and within touching distance of top 4
Top 4 with a trophy is a job well done and progress.
Anything less than this is ok but not a sign of progress, where we could see a rapid decline from Jose as a short termism manager and players like Kane considering their futures.
Title is an exceptional achievement and above and beyond, great chance this season of all seasons. Get a result at Anfield and i'll then seriously consider we could challenge.

I think they Caribo is our best bet, Europa is long and tortuous with too many opportunities for things to go a bit Spursy!
Jose has often won the Caribo in his first (full) season at a club, just to get something under his belt.

I can’t imagine challenging for the title playing the way we play.
The games against Brighton and at times West Brom where we got played off the park, don’t fill me with optimism.
Am happy to support the club but I feel like we’ve sold our sold for any kind of silverware. And it hurts seeing just how terrible we are now, playing route 1 to Kane and Son every game. I just don’t think it’s sustainable.
Watching Liverpool yesterday I'd say it's absurd to say we'll win the title. They're level on points with us and they've already got a depleted squad. We've only just now lost one of ours. They are on another level entirely. Come the end of the season I think the scrap will be between Liverpool and Chelsea. We'll be in the hunt with City for 3rd place I reckon.
We've never gone one whole season without losing Kane for an extended period. I'd be surprised if it doesn't happen again. He's just so good that lose him and we lose any chance we ever had.
