Thought Cooper and Phillips had their best games of the season so far, for me. Needed a clean sheet, and Arsenal have a strong attack, with the kind of players we usually struggle against.
Would have liked to win, but a good point, I think.
didn't miss costa
yup lubo, i was worried me might have to score 3 or 4 to win, clean sheet is awesome
Absolute madness to be critical of the teams creativity following that game on the thread I can't comment on. Shows a real lack of understanding of the sport if you think that game showed a lack of creativity. Or an inability to put things into context.
Lots of positives. Things to work on and improve, but we are ahead of where we should be performance wise.
Leeds should have won at least 7-0
Arsenal were rubbish
Leno did make some good saves
The woodwork saved Arsenal 3 times
Arsenal got away with murder
Thought we did enough to win.
Wasn't two of the woodworks Raphinia and Rodrigo, one guy coming g back from an illness and one guy starting his first league game in a while.
Think if those chances had fallen to them like that after a solid run of games they finish them.
Truth is before the game id have taken a a point and a clean sheet to boot.
But afterwards you look at it and think we deserved more than just a point
Ah the three wise monkeys, never see any wrong in the team,c'mon wake up, Jonty was absolutely right in his post.
24 hours or so later it's easier to assess yesterday.
I thought we did really well. Really well. The woodwork
was the star for them. And their goalkeeper played
lights out also. Doesn't alter the fact, even after a lay off,
we created a ton of opportunities. A ton.
KP back gave us balance and more confidence (I thought).
Rodrigo for me, is the real star our our team.
He needs to start and partner with Paddy & Klich.
Overall, lots to like. Can't point to one poor performance
other than Bill looked a bit off his normal brilliance.
Dallas keeps amazing me with how he can move in game
from one position to another and still look good.
I'm very happy with where we're headed.
I don't think Jonty could've got it more wrong tbh

So far everything you have posted on here has been proved wrong. We outplayed Arsenal with a starting lineup that had 9 players who were in the squad in Bielsa's first game in charge over 2 years ago. The same side you said couldn't make the play offs.
Then you go on to tell us how there is no way we can compete with Man City and we will be embarrassed. But again you who is embarrassingly wrong.
Having you agree with someone's argument does nothing but provide evidence of it being wrong.
I have no problem with people having a different argument or being wrong, like we are all, but your refusal to acknowledge any mistakes and continue to argue the point regardless of evidence is outright madness.
Zebedee, its not a case of not seeing any wrong, its a case of seeing good but some come on calling people monkeys when they think their life's falling apart!..
Have you ever thought about opening a school for monkeys?..
Because it seems these ones have lost their way, that, or they just see things the way it should be!..
'school for monkeys'

Germany, that's a best selling book series and movie waiting to happen. And a damn funny t-shirt. Thanks
for making me laugh out loud.
Rodrigo starting for the U23's today. Looks like he will play as a 9 too. I wonder how long it will be until we see him playing there for the first team? Very difficult to drop Bamford given his form but I am excited to what Rodrigo can offer further forward.
For that to happen we need a few of the midfielders to return from injury as well.
I'm in the 'Rodrigo's effing brilliant' fan club.
I just want him starting every game.
Batty, think I'd best search Doogle and find what you're on about, I've never heard of it!.
But glad its keeping you happy!.

I like Bamford, been brilliant for us and it frustrates me that so many fans can't see his value. But Rodrigo is clearly a level above and I think he was signed to play as a 9 and replace Bamford.
The failed medical of Cuisance, the injuries to Pablo and Shackleton and then the form of Bamford have meant that Rodrigo is understandably being used as a 10 in the midfield.
Rodrigo will definitely offer more than Bamford up front though, the problem is now, at what cost to the midfield?
I don't think Rodrigo will start up front before january, pending Bamford's fitness.
I wasn't a massive fan of Bamford in the Championship.
He changed my mind though this season. And I really
liked what was happening when he and Rodrigo were
on the pitch together.
That's my first hope. Seeing that continue. But, I do
think Rodrigo is the better player by quite a way.

I agree, would take a massive drop in form for Bamford or an injury. Bamford has earned that.
Still excited by the prospect though
