I don't think it will cause if it did it would have come by now. He just isn't very good at free kicks. It's a strange one because he's good at everything else, and most of the best strikers are good at free kicks.
It doesn't detract from how good he is.

I’m not sure why that’s laughable though. A lot of people praise Alan Shearer for being one of the greatest strikers of our generation and to right, he was a superb striker, but why laugh when Harry Kane is mentioned ? His goal scoring is phenomenal. His hold up play incredible. His vision and range of passing world class. If anyone has actually watched Harry properly like we have, you wouldn’t be laughing. Lewandowski is superb, but Harry Kane is slightly better for me.

I get the bias and he is world class but in terms of goals to games and doing it at the highest level Lewa is a level above. He has been hitting silly goal tallies for years.
Kane has awesome stats but Lewadowskis numbers are off the chart, season after season. If you look at just goals it's not even close.

How can you compare him to Bergkamp, Henry, Aguero, Nistelrooy, Shearer etc they all won trophies and titles?
Zlatan has scored 10 in 6 at my grandads age. Does that make him the best ever based on his current form? Vardy has won a title, plays in a worse team by far imo, and he is far more clinical than 99% of strikers, although I admit his around game is nowhere near as good as Kane.
Can make a case for plenty of players and I think even Kane would cringe at the idea of being named the Pl best ever striker 😅
Last season I was annoyed at Kane as he looked sluggish getting into the box and was dropping deep to much. I wasnt alone but now he is getting the assists he is the greatest striker in the world lol football is so fickle.

Way too early to say best ever.
Also depends if you really do mean best CF, or best CF who also defends and helps the team.
Both Ronaldos were better CFs, Pele, Maradonna, you could make an argument for Henry, van basten etc.
He's probably the best right now, although Lewandowski would argue otherwise, and Erling Haland is on absolute fire. Couple more years and he could be unbelievable.
Harry is special and on track to being talked about as the best the PL has ever had (a few more seasons at the same level) but let's not get too carried away.

Neither are anywhere near as prolific for goals as Kane is. I think in Rooney's case he possessed more talent.
I do believe Kane will go down as a better PL striker than either when his career is done.

Yeah I'm a sucker for stats and not really getting into the rose tinted glasses. I also understand how much we over hype PL players. If you look at shot conversion, chances received etc it puts a different slant on things.
Doesn't sure hold the record for goals in a campaign without any penalties and he missed a handful of games due to his ban? Balloon d'or runner up and CL/league winner...I'd actually say he was probably the best striker of recent times in the PL but left and git even better
If city signed Kane I think he would win everything and become the best in the league ever but not atm.

Right ok then clueless. Haaland is an exceptional young striker, but when he’s doing it year in year out for as long as Harry has and on the international stage to, then you come and talk to me. Until then, Haaland isn’t a patch on Harry Kane and I think you know it to.

OK, change "Does it matter?" to "In my opinion, it doesn't matter" and consider that my contribution to the debate
Drogba is one of the most over rated strikers in the PL era ATM. Fantastic on his day.
People crow about his record in big games, but conveniently ignore his poorer records than other top strikers in all the other games.
There needs to be balance, you can't have it both ways.
Also shows just how silly shearers goal record is in the PL, when he played for a poor Newcastle team too.
Going to be hard to beat that record and shows just how clinical he was.
If he joined united or arsenal it'd be uncatchable I'm. Crazy to think what he'd be worth today
If city signed Kane I think he would win everything and become the best in the league ever but not atm.

Exactly, such a weak argument isn’t it. It’s like an excuse to try and use something by saying “well he hasn’t won trophies”. Trophies or not, Harry is the best striker on the planet and I wouldn’t swap him for anyone. I wouldn’t swap him for Lewandowski, Salah, Mane, Aguero, Haaland. None of them.

I’m not sure why that’s laughable though. A lot of people praise Alan Shearer for being one of the greatest strikers of our generation and to right, he was a superb striker, but why laugh when Harry Kane is mentioned ? His goal scoring is phenomenal. His hold up play incredible. His vision and range of passing world class. If anyone has actually watched Harry properly like we have, you wouldn’t be laughing. Lewandowski is superb, but Harry Kane is slightly better for me.

I get the bias and he is world class but in terms of goals to games and doing it at the highest level Lewa is a level above. He has been hitting silly goal tallies for years.
Kane has awesome stats but Lewadowskis numbers are off the chart, season after season. If you look at just goals it's not even close.
Why can't a player just be world class instead of fans claiming he is the best based off a few games 😅

How can you compare him to Bergkamp, Henry, Aguero, Nistelrooy, Shearer etc they all won trophies and titles?
Zlatan has scored 10 in 6 at my grandads age. Does that make him the best ever based on his current form? Vardy has won a title, plays in a worse team by far imo, and he is far more clinical than 99% of strikers, although I admit his around game is nowhere near as good as Kane.
Can make a case for plenty of players and I think even Kane would cringe at the idea of being named the Pl best ever striker 😅
Last season I was annoyed at Kane as he looked sluggish getting into the box and was dropping deep to much. I wasnt alone but now he is getting the assists he is the greatest striker in the world lol football is so fickle.

Right ok then clueless. Haaland is an exceptional young striker, but when he’s doing it year in year out for as long as Harry has and on the international stage to, then you come and talk to me. Until then, Haaland isn’t a patch on Harry Kane and I think you know it to.

Drogba is one of the most over rated strikers in the PL era ATM. Fantastic on his day.
People crow about his record in big games, but conveniently ignore his poorer records than other top strikers in all the other games.
There needs to be balance, you can't have it both ways.

Also shows just how silly shearers goal record is in the PL, when he played for a poor Newcastle team too.
Going to be hard to beat that record and shows just how clinical he was.
If he joined united or arsenal it'd be uncatchable I'm. Crazy to think what he'd be worth today

If city signed Kane I think he would win everything and become the best in the league ever but not atm.

What a flawed logic!
His stats alone will tell you how good he is. Look at his assists, his goal line clearances and his scoring records they'll tell you about Kane.
Not whether his club won something!

Exactly, such a weak argument isn’t it. It’s like an excuse to try and use something by saying “well he hasn’t won trophies”. Trophies or not, Harry is the best striker on the planet and I wouldn’t swap him for anyone. I wouldn’t swap him for Lewandowski, Salah, Mane, Aguero, Haaland. None of them.
