Kane is incredible. This season he has taken his game to a new level. His stats are ridiculous, but he brings so much more to the table.
He's clearly a world class, elite footballer. Quite easily in the debate for third best player in the world.

I’m not sure why that’s laughable though. A lot of people praise Alan Shearer for being one of the greatest strikers of our generation and to right, he was a superb striker, but why laugh when Harry Kane is mentioned ? His goal scoring is phenomenal. His hold up play incredible. His vision and range of passing world class. If anyone has actually watched Harry properly like we have, you wouldn’t be laughing. Lewandowski is superb, but Harry Kane is slightly better for me.

Most complete ever is a bit of a stretch as just over the past 10 years alone I'd have Suarez above him for that.

Suarez’s hold up play was exceptionally actually and I can’t think of a time where he was ever muscled off the ball. Suarez had the better short passing, whereas Kane is better at long range passing. We also didn’t even see the best of Suarez, he became even better after joining Barca

I’m talking about finishing specifically though. Kane overperforms finishing statistics substantially every season, he is one of the best finishers since statistics started measuring that. Aguero’s hat tricks are irrelevant to him being clinical - longevity plays a part but so does the quality of team. If Kane played for City who would have blown away the hat trick record.

Suarez's hold play was sublime he was pretty good with his head as well however not on Kanes level.
Suarez was a level above Kane in the PL.
Maybe Kane can improve however he is not there yet
Hard to compare Suárez and Kane.
My instinct is to say Suárez was better but when you stop and think about it, it’s an interesting discussion.
I think Suarez is hugely underrated and has an argument for one of the all-time great strikers

That unfortunately isn't true. If you look at last season aguero and vardy dominated most categories.

He is exceptional but scoring more than xg doesn't mean others aren't performing better from season to season. Being the best is something few players can do for more than a year or two and it's because the margins between the best strikers is so small.
I get why spurs fans rate him the best I just think being the best fit for spurs doesn't mean he is the best in the world. He is world class 100% and def not far off though.
Also worth noting Vardy had a 30% conversion rate last year....that's crazy playing at a club like Leicester.

all the talk about Kane, but what impressed me about spurs is their defensive organization I like the art of defending & spurs are much improved in that department TBF

Most complete ever is a bit of a stretch as just over the past 10 years alone I'd have Suarez above him for that.
Kane's game has gone up another level this season though, will be interesting to see if he can maintain his playmaking form.

I’m not sure why that’s laughable though. A lot of people praise Alan Shearer for being one of the greatest strikers of our generation and to right, he was a superb striker, but why laugh when Harry Kane is mentioned ? His goal scoring is phenomenal. His hold up play incredible. His vision and range of passing world class. If anyone has actually watched Harry properly like we have, you wouldn’t be laughing. Lewandowski is superb, but Harry Kane is slightly better for me.

I get the bias and he is world class but in terms of goals to games and doing it at the highest level Lewa is a level above. He has been hitting silly goal tallies for years.
Kane has awesome stats but Lewadowskis numbers are off the chart, season after season. If you look at just goals it's not even close.

Yeah I'm a sucker for stats and not really getting into the rose tinted glasses. I also understand how much we over hype PL players. If you look at shot conversion, chances received etc it puts a different slant on things.
Doesn't sure hold the record for goals in a campaign without any penalties and he missed a handful of games due to his ban? Balloon d'or runner up and CL/league winner...I'd actually say he was probably the best striker of recent times in the PL but left and git even better

I think Kane is world class but the youre making out I'm saying he is rubbish đ when it comes to the top you have to talk about Henry and his 20 assists and shearer/Aguero etc even nistelrooy etc not sure why there is any shame in that.

Agree. Them two are freaks. Disagree with Rooney though as I never saw him as a striker really in the same way I see Shearer, Kane, Suarez, Henry etc

Suarez’s hold up play was exceptionally actually and I can’t think of a time where he was ever muscled off the ball. Suarez had the better short passing, whereas Kane is better at long range passing. We also didn’t even see the best of Suarez, he became even better after joining Barca

I’m talking about finishing specifically though. Kane overperforms finishing statistics substantially every season, he is one of the best finishers since statistics started measuring that. Aguero’s hat tricks are irrelevant to him being clinical - longevity plays a part but so does the quality of team. If Kane played for City who would have blown away the hat trick record.

Suarez's hold play was sublime he was pretty good with his head as well however not on Kanes level.
Suarez was a level above Kane in the PL.
Maybe Kane can improve however he is not there yet

Hard to compare Suárez and Kane.
My instinct is to say Suárez was better but when you stop and think about it, it’s an interesting discussion.

That unfortunately isn't true. If you look at last season aguero and vardy dominated most categories.

He is exceptional but scoring more than xg doesn't mean others aren't performing better from season to season. Being the best is something few players can do for more than a year or two and it's because the margins between the best strikers is so small.
I get why spurs fans rate him the best I just think being the best fit for spurs doesn't mean he is the best in the world. He is world class 100% and def not far off though.
Also worth noting Vardy had a 30% conversion rate last year....that's crazy playing at a club like Leicester.
