Some clubs in the lower league will go to the wall without match day income, I think Southend will get over the fact they have to face a crowd at Exeter after they came to an empty Roots Hall if it means they can exist beyond the season!
Assume levy will aim to get 2k of corporates in.
I would imagine the northern stadiums will still be hosting matches behind closed doors, because of the still high cases of Covid.
London I don`t think is to bad, so Spurs may start to get people through the gate again.
I don't get the argument of "in the interest of fairness can we keep crowds the same". So zero at one ground, zero at another. No because that's part and parcel of what has happened in this time, why should we suddenly have no fans in the reverse. Doesn't make sense to me because football isn't always fair.

A lot of the South are actually in a worse place than the North at the minute due to restrictions coming later.
All in good time for the title presentation.

Everyone cramming on the Tube will be a nightmare though. Obviously not a problem is it's a few thousand corporates..
Hopefully I will get into WHL in May to see the trophies paraded, and the Prem trophy presented.
Looking forward to seeing some sort of fan interaction again Sandy.
Surprising, but perhaps it is to do with the financial effect taking its toll.
Just seems odd to do this when they're so close to a vaccine. If anything you'd think they're go the other way and reduce freedom.
Will supporters from Tier three areas be allowed to travel to a club that is only in Tier one?

I must admit I am pleased, but very surprised they are opening everything up, when we are so close to a vaccination. I do hope they are not putting the economy solely over lives. That wouldn`t be nice at all.

If it is anything like what travelling was like for grassroots, Saturday/Sunday league football, then no.
But then you'd be unlikely to get any away crowds in many games in that case, so it may happen regardless.

Would have thought it’d be home supporters only?
Harringey currently reports 151 cases per 100000 in the last week, which compares to the national average of 210.
Compare that to Manchester at 342, Brum at 373, Liverpool 232, although all these are showing decreasing numbers while N17 shows moderate increases.
Not sure what that means for the tiers for these areas when we end Lockdown2.0 .
Would be good if we could get 4k yiiids in for the NLD on 5th Dec

Well they would be letting any pensioners in so you can relax Sandy
Sandy aren't you a season ticket holder for WHL? Wondering how it would work if only a small % of fans get in who actually does?
Good news though
Sandy, how do you feel about last season with regard to it being started with fans but ending with no fans? Is this not the same issue as you mention in your article but in reverse?

Home fans only and clubs in the top tier won't be allowed any fans at all.
Entry will probably be narrowed down to a section of ST holders, by loyalty points and then by ballot.

I know that Winston, but even a lot of home supporters come from different Tier areas. That was what I was getting at, will even home supporters from say Tier 3 be allowed to Tier 1, and how would they enforce it? I assume it would be on the address where the season ticket was purchased on.

No mate, never been a season ticket holder, other than a couple of seasons back in the 1980s, where I shared one. I used to struggle to get tickets at the old ground, when the attendance shrunk to just 36,000, but at Wembley and the new ground, I get them very easy now. I never had in trouble just paying to get onto the terraces back in the day though.
