I admit I just didn't get it and turned it off half way through. Keep being told how good it is so not sure what I missed?

I stuck it on the planner and was really looking forward to watching it, especially when I discovered that the guy who played Korg and directed Ragnorak (what a film that is) was behind it. So Saturday night after Spurs did City me and my other half settled down to enjoy it.

However it wasn't all I'd hoped for mainly because I found the portrayal of Hitler unfunny and a bit embarrassing. Anyway when the missis said "turn this rubbish off" after about 30 mins I was happy to do so.

Just another one of lifes little let downs.

I thought it was ok, but each to their own, mate.

Anything with Adolf in it will be touchy, to say the least.

It wasn't Adolf at all!!

He was the socially conditioned manifestation of a year olds imagination.

This is a very deep rooted film and if thats not you bag then fairplay.

Saw it at the cinema with a grand total of two other people in attendance. Loved it.

I enjoyed it. I thought the guy who played the childs imaginary Hitler was quite funny, but each to their own.

Yes Im glad someone else gets it
I was unsure myself for a few minutes until I realised that he was just an imaginary friend and yes I thought the character was well done and acted, but yeah each to their own!

I thought they did a sensitive subject quite well from a different perspective to what we are used to. It is quite apparent that the Hitler character is just a brainwashed, outcast child's interpretation of what Hitler would be like and in the end it gets shown up for what it is.

Yes I would say the same after just watching it. Charming and touching, without being particularly funny.

Yes I agree, it was a pretty good movie. Not a classic.

I think most characters worked, but Scarlet Johansson’s character seemed a bit weak for me.
