In fairness Justin Walker doesn't deserve any real grief as he was only promoted to the crew but the other 3 were at the coal face, when they shafted Phil and co, whilst I get the football wasn't great under Phil and Co, can't help feeling if it was just his men and Rooney was just a mirage we would not be bottom of the league and in danger of being cut adrift.
When you put Max Bird left of a back 3 and try to justify it because he's played there in the '18s whilst Davis and bite yer bum Shinnie not getting a look in says it all.
Let's face it, this crew could feck up the takeover with their amateur handling of actually picking a team and while it's great that social media covers how much happier they look at training that does not sit easy as they should be getting angry about the mess they have created whilst getting well paid and yet can't score a goal in 8 hours of football.
How Clarke got player of the year I'll never know but the list goes on and on.
I'm done ranting but if Wycombe do us on Saturday this will easily be worse than a whole season of 11 points.
SHAMBLES.
In the cold light of day my opinion hasn't changed. We were abysmal last night.
We do need a Manager in from the outside....not an 'inner circle' Rooney/Rosenior type. Hate to say it, but a Warnock, Big Sam....maybe Paul Cook. Somebody who's been there, done it, knows what he wants and what it takes to get there. Whilst Cocu was great bringing the U23's through his manner seemed to impose itself on the club...that calm and unflappable persona. We need someone new....an ass kicker if you like. Someone to galvanise the players. I still believe we're punching massively under our weight. The players last night just didn't seem to understand the basics, nor did they seem to have the will/desire to impose themselves anywhere across the pitch. The senior players need also to take a hard look at themselves because the younger players like Knight & Sibley showed what endeavour & getting involved is all about. I truly hope that the owners have a Manager of substance waiting in the wings as we will also lose to Wycombe at the Weekend and Coventry next week with this current set up.
I agree with Terry. Warnock would be ideal right now and I never in my life thought I would be typing that. Big Sam might be the next best bet for where we are now. I even think he could get Rooney playing in a way that helps rather than hamstrings the team. Somehow points must be won and then a bit of confidence would come. I thought some individuals like Bird, Knight and Sibley played pretty well last night but the descent into shambolic lack of shape in the last twenty minutes was truly shocking.
I only listened to RD, but when they made the 2 substitutions I could tell the players didn't know what was going on. Straight away they scored their 2nd. The game was savable till then and it was the "management's" fault.
I never thought for a second that I would like Colin as manager, but now I've changed my mind. Have I ever mentionrd that we. shouldn't have sacked Clough?
The first sacking of Clough ruined our club for years and the second Clough sacking hasn't turned out very well. His team would hammer this bunch of wasters.
John Terry...................no thanks Mel..have you learned anything?
I see that the Beeb now have us as "Rooney's Rams"
Mo chreach!
I absolutely hated reading that yesterday.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, Derby will be starting the interview process NEXT WEEK.
How long is it going to take to appoint a new manager?!?!

Big Sam's Rams or Terry's Rams sounds like a new sort of chocolate, likely soft centres.

Don't know what that means, but I certainly have my own translation đ˛
The way we're going we'll be Terry's Black and White Chocolate Teapot
Looking from the outside we all have our perceptions of what is going wrong, but we don’t know owt. You would like to think that the owner would want to talk privately to each of the current coaching staff and senior players like Davies and Marshall and ask them what they REALLY think. Ask one or two of the younger ones as well what their take is on Rooney and the others. Maybe even talk to Cocu and try to find out if he thinks Rooney was a cuckoo in the best or a snake in the grass or, who knows, a dedicated and trusted colleague who did everything that was asked of him and more.
Maybe that’s McLaren’s first job: sniff out the issues and find out who, if anyone, needs weeding out pronto. Are things rotten enough to need a clearout or does it just need a steady hand on the tiller to turn it round? A new boss coming in to any business will take a while to get a good feel for things, who to trust and who the Wormtongues are. We haven’t really got that luxury. We need something sorted out quickly though. The whole club will get even more demoralised if the fiasco of last night is repeated.
Just coming through on the wires that Wayne Rooney has been dropped for Saturday's game.
No, the news is that he has dropped himself.
Definitely justified on playing grounds.
If he wants to manage the team, he has to do it from the sidelines.
Whether its for 1 game, or more, doesn't matter. You can't manage from the pitch.
This is a game we HAVE to win.

That’s what I said
It was said that the troublemakers were Keogh and Martin. Now they have left and things are worse, I wonder what is going on.
Yes, Rooney has ruled himself out of playing - and it's the right decision. You cant Manage and be one of the Lads at the same time. I rate him as a player but the trouble is he tries to spread himself to thinly over the pitch in a way of papering over the cracks. Rosenior I think is too much like Cocu in that he's a 'nice guy'. If Wayne has any hopes of managing DCFC he has to impose himself and be "the man".
I keep saying it, we are punching massively under our weight. Good players dont suddenly become bad players. The decline at the end of last season was not halted and has carried on into this. We want players who give their all when they pull the shirt on. It was plain to see on Wednesday who was 'giving it all' and who wasn't. Wayne needs to address this.
We have a massive opportunity again in the next 2 games to address this against teams who we should be beating. 6 points would give us all a massive boost and set us off in the right direction. I still remain positive as there are what 30 odd games to go in the season but we need to fix this asap
