Think 4,000 was for the mythical Tier 1 level of restrictions.

Doubt any PL clubs will open for just 2,000 fans. Costs involved are just too high. Won't break even.

I was talking to somebody from Linfield here and when they were letting in about 800 fans, it was costing them a fortune. They paid more for the security etc than they got back in ticket sales. This would be similar for PL clubs with 2000 in, although some may bite the bullet anyway.

2,000 is v.good news for lower league clubs, as they can get in some fans and start making some much needed revenue.

Clubs in PL or some in Championship will lose money. Depends on their financial circumstances, I suppose. If they can take a further hit, they'll open up. If they are in bad financial shape (**coughSpurscough**) then I doubt they'll open up.

James Benge reported that and only because the EL game is a day after the 'lockdown' is meant to end. He doesn't actually have any solid information from the club that states they will open.

Arsenal might do, but it'll cost them. We'll find out more in a few days.

I wonder if City have been recording full attendances throughout lockdown still?

Even less chance of you boys on here to make a game now 😳

On a serious level though, go and watch some non league. They need your money more anyway!

No,but you can still bottle the opponents coach on the way to the ground,as long as all your 'fans' remain 2 metres apart
