I agree that this is a stupid rule. Why they even thought this would be a fair ruling.
It’s only 2000 fans so I doubt it will be any advantage tbh.
Actually it might make for some great TV, hearing Arsenal fans slating their players and manager.. pure jokes.

Said this on other thread, How can Liverpool and Everton allow fans in. Even if it’s only 2000. But both Manchester clubs can’t. Definitely a disadvantage.

Yeh, you got me there
Manchester or Liverpool won't see any fans for a long time yet.
It is threatening to turn into a bit of a farce, any system where some clubs can have fans and others can't is inherently unfair, and personally I haven't really got into football much this season (the post-lockdown stuff seemed like a welcome return to normality, the empty stadia now just rub in how f@cked the world still is).
On the whole though I'd rather have farcical football than none at all, but probably, yeah, it is an asterisk-worthy season.
The cost of opening the grounds for most Prem clubs won't be worth it.
It is for the benefit of the lower/non-league sides to get some income.

Liverpool will welcome fans back into Anfield on December 5th, for the Wolves game.
This is totally unfair. 99% of our fans do not live in Manchester. Could we use our power as the biggest club in the world to build a replica of Old Trafford in China and have 75,000 of our fans there attend?

Knowing those scvmbags they’ll probably ask for a government subsidy to help with the cost of reopening right before spending 75m on a CB in January

not our fault your 10th
I think we should scrap all of Utds titles because they have had more fans in every year.
Close the thread.
Clearly not a level playing field, so do we think next season we might have a non-asterisk season?
If you want a level playing field when it comes to attendance by fans, then once everything is back to normal, every ground in the premiership should be only allowed to let in the same amount of fans.
So if the smallest ground capacity in the prem is 28,000 then that's the limit for everyone. That's if you want fairness and a non asterisk tainted title.

Headshot.
Meh footballs never completely "fair" anyway.
For example, was is "fair" that United could play Sheffield United without Dean Henderson last year while your rivals for top 4 had to face him? If I recall correctly he made a match saving save against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge which had he not they'd have finished above United.
Chelsea themselves have a similar advantage this year, if they win the title a point ahead of Liverpool, Ross Barkley's performance against the latter would have played a part in that. Had WBA held for a point Vs Spurs their other loanee Gallagher would have been a big reason for it but they can't use him against Chelsea.
In short, life ain't fair, suck it up!
