I think what you actually do is continue to whine about it in your post match press conferences.

Everything going against you

Klopp having a proper cry is it?

Realising sprinting everywhere for 90 minutes isn't sustainable beyond a season of injury and fitness fortune? Ok.

Yeah that's why he doesn't do it anymore

You're just Leeds with money. Was always going to burn out eventually.

I mean it is what it is, fair enough the gengen thing works.

But let's not pretend it's rocket science or without it's downsides.

Siege time lol.

Like the way teams laid siege to Liverpool's goal during the Rafa years

We had 70% possession at Anfield in a game back in 2007. The Kop didn't help you that day.

If you think we still sprint all game then you haven't watched us for a couple of years.

What we're seeing now is Klopp having a good cry because he can't adapt. He's paid millions to figure this chit out, not complain because he can't run his squad into the ground repeatedly and not give them more rest than the opposition. Good football isn't all about running.

I've watched enough Liverpool. It's predictable this was going to happen. Much like Leeds will drop off in Spring time.

Not for a couple of years though clearly if you think we still sprint all game, and drop off in spring.

It seems it’s our turn, unlike past seasons, to suffer major major loss through injuries. That’s the way it is folks. Our team didn’t play well today, and I’d put that down to tiredness. The play at times was sloppy and we got punished. That’s having been said, the penalty against Andrew was derisive, harsh, very hash.

Time to give our next opponents a good hiding.

Onwards and upwards.

A well reasoned post. Fair enough. It's kind of a shame to see the amount of injuries you've got right now.

I think part of it may be that Liverpool have a brilliant sports science department. The best in England, probably. Klopp demands a lot from his players physically, but in the past the science side has ensured that the players don't get pushed beyond the "red zone" between training and games. I imagine that's a fairly precise exercise.

With this condensed schedule, that has altered where the "red zone" is and if players are still being trained at the same intensity, there are likely to be more injuries. Even if they aren't, the fact is that the science isn't that this situation is unprecedented and there isn't the statistical data there to accurately get the balance right. That may explain the injury problems Liverpool are suffering from.

That's just a theory on my part. Probably completely wrong

It really is sad to see what Arsenal fans are having to do to try to stay relevant in 2020.

I never noticed Klopp moaning last season when Liverpool were winning. And never heard a peep when him and his team were going halfway around the world to play in a glorified Charity Shield/Emirates Cup Tournament.

'A decent rest'?

What about the pre-season you enjoyed but City and United were deprived of.
