You don't win titles by not winning. You could have put severe pressure on the rest of the league by leading with a points gap points you bottled it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with this other than the bottled part. I don't think they bottled it because it was a game not to lose, but you do have to be brave and win those fixtures to put a gap between you and your rivals which Spurs didn't do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody cares fella. Liverpool fans crying over a few injuries and couldn`t even beat Brighton.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nor could you beat Newcastle or West Ham.
Don't worry pal, at least you've won the title in November.

Having said that, the next 2 months will be absolutely crucial to see who will finish where this season. The amount of games, the January transfer window and the fixtures against rivals will be pivotal for everyone.

Spurs are top of the table having now played City and Chelsea in successive weeks. How much long your lot going to go on about injuries. Spurs had players missing today as well. Toby, Lamela etc, but we aint moaning like you lot are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lamela wouldn't start and that's 2 players. Liverpool have 3 out of their back 4 missing alone. Not to mention Thiago, Henderson and now Milner as well. Alisson has also been missing this season. Key players missing every week for long periods of time, I'd like to see how Spurs would cope without 5/6 of your players who would actually start.
The fact you're celebrating being top in November and thinking you're certain to win the league when you're being matched stride for stride by an injury hit side shows the exact small club, loser mentality your club has.
Do you know what, I'm not even one of the bitter fans either because I do genuinely think you've done well and will be certainly in the title race and may even win it, you're just so full of yourselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's worth remembering you're talking to Sandy, not Spurs fans in general. He doesn't speak for all of us but he is doing a great job at winding you up to be fair.

Very, very salty this evening.

Sandy, you and every regular on this board knows that no one banks on a run of games putting paid to s season this early. United were bottom half this morning, the are now 3 points from Chelsea with a game in hand.
Everyone will expect you to blow it at some stage though, it's what you do.

And your an Arsenal fan how’s the loss again you mug ? you are in a relegation battle, whilst Spurs sit proudly top of the table. God, that must hurt mind the gap

I think Spurs are ruffling a few feathers. The opposition supporters were banking everything into this tricky run of games to scupper Spurs. But it is going the opposite way. Spurs just keep ploughing on.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah not this season fella. You may be waiting a while for Spurs to blow it. Chelsea huffed and puffed this afternoon, but never really looked like scoring, bar one shot that Lloris saved well. Spurs I expect to win the return match at WHL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You cannot have watched this match Sandy.
Did you not see that blunder of a head back by Rodon in minute 91 that gave Giroud a wonderful chance on goal?

Yeh, and I also saw the blunder by the Chelsea defence, that almost gifted Spurs a goal.

Point is......Rodon is not adequate cover for Toby.
But he will have to do.
