You have to wait a minute for the replays to load!

Was the best player on the pitch in the first half. 2nd half Kovacic who is very similar in style took over.

His fitness told in the second half. He’s asked to do more chores under Jose’s tactical plan. He’s on a different planet to anyone when he’s still got his breath!
He has a vet low center of gravity and I don’t have to watch the replay as I remember the incident very well. It’s the incident whrrr outwitted Silva and Kante and was actually grabbed by Kante but the ref didn’t even show a yellow card for that?
It shows how high level of fitness level is needed with Jose. He demands intensity everywhere on the pitch!
Thanks for reminding of this moment, OP
If this was a piece brilliance done by any of the media darlings, it would’ve talked about million times!
I can’t wait when Ndombele is even more advanced with his fitness and can last 90 min against a good side! Same with Bale!
Bale can also pull off some technical tricks out of the bag! That scissor kick goal in the CL final is still one of the most beautiful piece of individual brilliance I have seen in the last 10 years!

At the time I thought well that was some skill, I didn't even realise how many fake touches he took there.

Love this one as well

Proper natural ability. Tanguy

Ndomballer. Loving that he’s proved me wrong and Jose to be fair. Never doubted his ability, just his commitment. Great season so far.

He is INSANE. The way he manipulates his body to move dummy and move is incredible.

He can spin 180 on one spot and such a low centre of gravity that players can't grab him as he goes past them.

Also I love his angled reverse ball. The only problem the recipient must be expecting it!

I believe he has great shots in him and wish he could do more in that department.

He is such quality. Perfect replacement for Dembele.

I just hope he can stay fit and happy at Spurs.

Reminds me of kovacic but even more so of dembele. Could be your replacement for him.

He’s got a Moussa Dembele about him hasn’t he? The shielding and strength on the ball

It's all about anticipation with him. He's so aware of the position of the ball, the position of his body and the angle of the incoming press from the opposition player - he's always made his mind up where the ball needs to be shifted to, before the ball has reached him.

Literally the anti-Sissoko. Sissoko receives the ball and doesn't make up his mind what to do with it until after he's booted it out of play

Both very good team players

Best thing I have seen written about Ndombele is :

Ndombele is built like a brick 5hithouse but has feet like a ballerina.

The bloke who wrote the above also said it defies logic but I don't agree with that bit.

I love Kova but I think Ndombele is better. Retains the dribbling ability and press resistance. But stronger, more dangerous in final third (for whatever reason Kova’s dribbling even though very good he seems to lose some guile in final third). Although he doesn’t get many goals yet like Kova his striking technique is better. And slightly more creative passing/vision than Kova.

He’s an extremely talented and unique player. You can tell that just watching him once. I was surprised so many Spurs fans lost patience with him last season. Moussa Dembele actually had a similarish type of experience when he first signed for Spurs. An extremely talented and unique player (to me) but for his first 1-2 seasons not appreciated well at Spurs.

It's hard to appreciate anyone who does not work hard for the team, especially when you know how good they can be but underperform.

still early doors, ndombele when i saw him last year was pretty rubbish. He looks better this year but kovacic was our poty last year for a reason. Brought class and guile to a hectic season.

Yeah that’s true, it must’ve been frustrating seeing a guy of his ability not at his best yet.

I actually wanted us to sign him but we had a transfer ban 😂 I also wanted Pepe so...

Especially when you have paid close to £60m for him and you see someone like Bruno, who costs the same, come into the league and hit the ground running.

Not every player hits the ground running regardless of what they cost. A few of us could see his talent and knew he needed time.
