What is the worst case scenario for a vaccine side effect, historically?
Pregnant women are being advised not to take the vaccine until the pregnancy has ended, that is slightly concerning.
Yes. And the good news is, I don’t think I’m pregnant. Where did this info on pregnancy come from?
For those who choose to refuse the vaccine, the top banana at Oxford/Astrazenica had very sound words for them:
“Good luck.”
For those who do take that stance, I fully respect their decision, and I wish them well. God forbid that they succumb to the virus, but it begs a question: if they do fall ill, or desperately ill, will they maintain their stance and refuse any or all medical help?

Not had time to read through the entire thread and not fully sure how this vaccine works, but does anyone know if it is supposed to be similar to how flu jabs work?
If I'm not mistaken, a very small minority of people who have a flu jab (which is generally administered to the elderly, people with compromised immune systems and other high-risk groups) can go on to develop a full-on flu that can actually end up killing them.
As far as I know, the vaccine is initially going to be rolled out to those most at risk.
If the above is correct, then mightn't it be safer to begin with for people in low-risk groups living with high-risk individuals to have the jab first and self-isolate for the recommended period?

Not an expert but I am not sure if there are long term side effects due to the length of time being trialed. So I would after further tests
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s basically no such thing as long term side effects with vaccines. It just isn’t a thing.
