He has a lot of potential. He has been learning on the job to be a midfielder and is getting better and better. He does not hide and always wants the ball. Once he bulks up a little he could be unstoppable.

I like him because whenever he plays i see the picture of him with "warra win dat was den" and scouse is pretty funny.

So much confidence on the ball for his age. He's a bit like couthino in the area of the pitch he plays in.

he reminds me of an 80s throwback... tight perm.. feeble attempt at a tash with a sprinkling of pre- pubescent facial fuzz.. defo at the right club.. he's just missing the shell suit

Ambitious as well is something that can be added. The confidence to come after the Everton game last season and say he wants to be starting more games, for the age he is, club he is at and players in his position, is one good attitude for the lad. I hope it doesn't go to his head though.

A fantastic achievement by this young man, matched, in my view, by both Neco and Kelleher who made some fantastic saves. What a team.

Jones has improved a bit more even over the course of these games.

Trust and chances are a must but he's grabbed them at the same time.

I think personally he has some way to go to really be as influential as he could be.

But anyway. special mention to Neco williams for standing up after being hauled off at HT on the weekend to deliver a decent 90mins with even some positivity running forward

Kelleher was so much better than i've seen before out of him as well. He really did the basics well. Now if i were wolves I would press the hell out of him saturday as ajax were not quite clued into how long he sometimes took over the ball but his passing was good, he made no errors and came and held the ball then the chance was there. A few times his saves were loose but they were still good stops.

Its great to see 3 lads come in and absolutely not let anyone down.

in the end compared to even 12 months ago we now have

new no 2 GK from academy

New Cm developing nicely from academy

New RB from academy

a surprise new CB out of academy who nobody really thought would be getting games.

4 players saving literally 10s of millions.

Experience must be a big thing for them all. Nat Phillips will have got a good deal of it whilst on loan at Stuttgart, Rhys Williams still looks like he's got a long way to go, but not completely hopeless, Neco Williams showed what he was about last night and Kelleher improves massively.

I think games like that, being involved in proper first team games with proper first team players, rather than just cup gams with their fellow youth squad, is reason enough to give them a bit of a confidence boost.
