Tbh I think he had a valid point. Spurs weren't pretty to watch at all. Effective it can't be denied but typical Jose.
Spurs need to start winning things so I totally get it. But you will all get fed up with Jose soon enough. I don't think you will win the league either so ultimately you will end up in same place as under Poch just playing counter attacking football. Will that be enough?
knows next to nothing about the game
only there coz he looks good in a tin flute
Redknapp played for Spurs didn't he? Thought he had a spot spot for them after Liverpool.
Anyway, the second half was more classic Jose rather than Arsenal being better. Jose knew Arsenal are blunt and controlled the game. As he has said before, just because the other team has possession doesn't mean they're in control of the game. There is more than one way to control a game.

the small part that i watched was fairly relevant, never watch much of Sky but these guys are all pretty much the same, i thought most of what he said was praising Spurs
Completely agree Don. His narrative was Spurs would be nothing without Kane and Son.
I thought the narrative was that spurs should be offering more.
Surely against lesser teams like arsenal spurs should be on the front foot
If you play like that at Anfield we have the players to hurt you.
Redknapp and Souness are a terrible combination. Luckily Alex Scott was there to add a semblance of analysis.
Souness pre match said ndombele is a hard working player who lacks creativity. He can barely have watched him if that is his conclusion.
Carra and Neville are class, but after that it's a weak group of pundits. Keane good for entertainment and Richards for a laugh but that's about it.
I don't care tbh
We are playing within our limits, and actually play some brilliant stuff but it doesn't suit the narrative of some.
That second counter attack, is one of the best you could see in football, devastating and the finish is sublime.
The fact that we can defend well and happy to let the opposition have the ball is taken as negative?
It's what you do with that possession that counts?
When Leicester won the league without possession the same critics were praised their game as effective. But when it is Spurs, they call it negative

The opposite. I think Spurs, in their last 3 games have been playing to the maxmmum with Jose getting the very best out of the players. They are walking through walls for him. If they can be successful over the course of the seeason in breaking down teams who conceded territory and possession then it's game on. Son and Kane will have a dry period at ae stage and that's when the other players will need to step up.
Morning Don, the whole of Sky were shockingly bad yesterday. I couldn`t believe the nonsense they were saying, barely praising Spurs even though the had just negotiated City, Chelsea and Arsenal without scoring a goal, and has a team that is top ever been criticised so much. They kept banging on about why Bale isn`t starting. He was brought into boost the squad, surely they undertstand that. He is starting in the Europa, and I am sure he will start in some Prem games. At the moment, why change a winning team.

You will be making changes to a winning team next weekend.
Agst Palace the tactics will be in reverse and you will need more attacking options than you have been. Bale could well feature.

Spurs are nowhere near their limit, they have a lot more to offer, if ever they take the breaks off, some clubs will be in for some very big tonkings.
Mourinho is managing this team just about perfectly. Once the Europa Group stages end, then I believe you will see a seriously good attacking side to Spurs. It is a matter of getting through multiple games the best way possible. And Jose is doing that just about perfectly.

Oh so the last 10 minutes of one game is what you are judging Spurs on. LOL. What about the 3-3 draw with WBA Chelsea struggled to get? Or not having beaten any decent side this season.
I completely agree Don. I thought Sky's pundits were a disgrace - particularly Redknapp and Souness.
I couldn't quite understand the negativity towards us. Imagine if we had lost the game!
I think there's a bit of football snobbery going on. certain people cannot accept that Spurs are league leaders and looking a real threat to the big teams.
Like someone said earlier, Leicester won the PL by conceding possession and playing counter attacking football and they were praised to the hilt.
You're everything you mocked us for under Jose.
You aren't an exciting side anymore, but you're getting results and at the end of the day that's what matters.
It wasn’t just Redknapp. Neville and Sounness were all like “duhhh Arsenal must be wondering how they’ve lost this game”.

I am not judgding Spurs° You made a typically idiotic Sandy comment and left yourself open to a counter. You should be used to it by now as it sums up your entire user history on this site.
We were extremely well drilled and organised but Arsenal were the dominant team in that second half and they could, had they been more on their game, got back into the match. I saw Aub had a good chance to score from a header and there was another good ball into our box that Laca should have got on the end of.
I just wished we could have got out of our half more and attacked them in that 2nd half. This is the 15th placed side in the league who are struggling for goals having over 70% possession against us and camped near our box. At least the players and Jose acknowledged it wasn't exactly what we wanted.
