It's true we depend a lot on Kane and Son. As long as it's accepted that United would be nothing without Fernandes, City would be nothing without KDB/Sterling, Liverpool nothing without Salah/Mane, Arsenal nothing without...ah never mind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They said that about VVD our defense would just crumble

What I found hilarious of Jamie, was when Alex Scott asked the question, how would you have adapted had Jose been your manager, and then he proceeds to talk utter crap, about not my style of play.
Had Jose come into his life at any time in his career and he tried to tell Jose, I’m don’t want to play football that way, he wouldve been out the door quick smart.
Who the hell is Redknapp to say anything? Jose would’ve said, ok, show me your medals that Your playing style has got you, and I’ll show you mine, what My style has got me.
Oh what’s that, conversation over, ok, either fall into line or fall out. And I bet he would’ve fell into line.

It’s all well and good now as a pundit to say, I don’t like the style. Fine. But there won’t be an asterisk on Spurs name if they win a Trophy, saying boring football.

IMO, He’s using the Inter Milan template.
Stop the whining. Just fight fire with fire and take it to Spurs.
I’m pretty sure Spurs will play similar against UTD when we next meet. We will be coming for revenge, and will take it to ya. But I won’t be moaning about your style.
Adapt or die...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mourinho would have won quite a bit with that Liverpool "Spice Boys" team in the 90's that Redknapp was in I imagine. Had a very good team of players but hardly won anything.

Redknapp also said it doesn’t matter what type of football you’re playing as long as you’re winning.

So who cares.

Spurs have to be looking to win something, there's no reason they can't this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course. We have one of the best starting line ups, a solid defence, the best player in the league currently IMO, Son up front who is also now world class, one of the best managers in the world (if you still believe he's got it) and we're currently top of the league and in all competitions. There needs to be a trophy at the end of this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trophy or progression into the top 4 again. There is no presssure on Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is pressure on him. Expectancy at Spurs is now very high again just from him being at the club and the squad we have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The pressure comes from his haters who wanted him gone by xmas. Not happening.

First they said he was outdated now they are saying he must win a trophy or less he should be sacked. They have turned us into Real Madrid LOL.

idiots the lot of them. Top 4 will do and we continue to build. Trophies are a bonus.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Top 4 would be acceptable but it would be very disappointing if we do not end up with a trophy. It's what these players want and we need to win stuff to keep them at the club as much as for the fans' benefit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I agree with this. But you can’t expect Mourinho to win the league mate. Top 4 and a trophy would be superb and would be the best any modern manager has done at Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well according to Sandy you have the best squad and are playing well within your limits, so one of you two is wrong about your title prospects
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL you are a mess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For pointing out massive contradictions? OK

Quality crosses into the box is very important against this deep compact Spurs team.

I am glad Trent is back because I expect us to play the same tactic as Arsenal but with more quality.
Mane and Salah dragging your centre backs out of position to the wide areas.

What actually amazed me is nobody in that Arsenal team didn’t even try to hit a long shot.
Like they are scared to shoot... You can see the Bus firmly parked in the box, sometimes just gotta take a punt from range....

they are a mess. they were awful. Redknapp and Sounness saying they played well was just nonsense. they could still have been there now and wouldn't have scored. How many clear cut chances did they make? Did they trouble Lloris? a couple of headers.. some set pieces... not one clever piece of attacking play to unlock a defence.

and defensively they were just a joke.

awful performance

Yes I'll love it if they play like they have been the last few weeks.
Trent, Robbo, Salah, bobby, and mane running at them
They won't get the ball, exactly what we did with Leicester and wolves last night.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sissoko is told to do a man to man job on Trent, just follow him wherever he goes and stop any attempt of a cross.

We will be happy with a nil nil at Anfield.

Neither of those sides have Kane and Son, if you push too far forwards you will get caught and there won’t be VVD to bail you out.

Matip and Fabinho are solid replacements, no excuses from us about no having VVD.

We sit a few yards further back now to compensate.

None of the sides you have played have anything like Trent, Robbo, Salah, bobby, and mane coming at you.

Like I say I will love it if you sit back against us, we have the players to hurt you.

Scouseknapp is nothing but a Pool loving mug, he realizes Spurs are a genuine threat to his beloved Pool and he hates it.

I always have a little bet with myself when he is on TV, to see when he first mentions Livarpool, and its usually within the first minute of him being on air.

I'd value his father's opinion over his any day.

Like Pranks said we have more quality upfront than you have faced before. You only have Son and Kane. Nullify those two and you have Spurs bending over.

Our movement is still the best in the league. First goalpost and second goalpost movement, diagonal movement, Blind side movement.

Your tactic is Kane dropping in midfield and Son running in space.

We have seen a considerable amount of reluctance to accept even a small amount of recognition across the media and pundits yesterday and this morning. Which is a bit disappointing.

I guess we should all be used to this by now, although I do think their latest reason we won't keep pace with their favorites is "because we are playing ugly football" is a bit desperate.

Funniest moment for me was the Sky host presenter in the studio at half time, in response to Souness saying the game could be over at half time, was total shock and disbelief with the response "REALLY, OVER AT HALF TIME" Possibly Souness at that point should of reminded him where Arsenal were in the table this season, telling him to stop treating Arsenal as a top team.

Completely agree Don. His narrative was Spurs would be nothing without Kane and Son.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
tbf where do you think spurs would be without kane and son?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

God, I hate this sort of comment. They are our players mate, so why would we be without them? How would Liverpool do without Mane and Salah ? City without De Bruyne and Stirling ? United without Fernandes ? Could go on mate. Every big club has their world Class stars. Ours is Harry and Son.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeh such a nonsense comment Don. Where would any club be without their best players.

And I mean HTF can a Leeds supporter make a comment like that? Have they actually got any good players? They have found their level, bottom half of the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i know you're really dense sandy and don doesn't seem much brighter but the question was where would you be without kane and son. the answer is around mid table.
liverpool could lose salah and mane and still win the league. city could lose debruyn and sterling and still finish second. its what champions do.
