Palace game is going to be tough , they are playing well and we will be tired after last night . Klopp may want to freshen the team but only has ox or keita and I can’t se them starting as have had no game time . Need a good start and then can bring them on . After this we have a long rest before wba whilst others have another mid seeker .

To be fair you dominated possession as expected, but didn’t give Hugo too much to be bothered about - the first goal took a double deflection and was a complete fluke (although glad to see it awarded to Salah as he was my FF captain). You were close to being ‘Jose‘d’ with Spurs having the three best chances of the second half before Firminhos goal. Shame for us those two 1v1’s fell to Bergwijn and not Som who is far far more clinical. And Kane missing a free header
Jose’s subs indicated we were happy for a point and handed the onus to Liverpool to push on for the winner which to me is dangerous, and he paid the price. I’m happy that we are where we are - League, Europe and cup wise - at this stage. Think you’ll win the league fairly comfortably but not at a canter like last season. Top 4 and the league cup for us would make me very happy.

I don't understand this, our finishing was woeful in the first half we had a bunch of chances that, to the left or right of Lloris would have been a goal.
Lloris also made a couple of outstanding saves.
You had 2 really good chances, but we had some too that we missed. Overall the better side by a distance won.
You need to start playing more attacking football, you looked a much better side in the second half when you did.
Be interesting to see the game in January as you won't have fans back, and we will have players back

I’m talking clear cut chances - Son’s goal was a 1v1 whereas Salahs was a flukey deflection. Bergwijn had two clear 1v1’s against the keeper and facked them both up. Kane had a free header 2 yards out and stuck it into the ground. That’s 4 clear golden chances to score, where you would say we should have scored, and we only put 1 away. Liverpool didn’t have nearly as many clear chances - even the winner wasn’t a clear chance, he got up well to score a header that he didn’t have the right to win. I’m not into this sheite, but the XG stats were higher for Spurs even though possession was a lot higher for Liverpool.
This is why for me it’s a frustration because you had a makeshift CB pairing and we showed that when we attacked we were able to create chances, so if we had been bolder and/or more clinical rather than having the ‘a point will do’ mentality we could’ve actually won the game regardless of possession stats. As it was, you walk a fine line playing for a draw and you pay the price against a good team if you make the slightest mistake.

I can think of mane clear chance to beat the keeper at same angle as berg and salah through on goal to beat keeper and shooting tamely.
Ultimately if you pack your defence you have risk deflections. Playing on the break with quality players isnt a masterclass. You just need one long pass and get past the attackimg team as you was doing in nearly every big game. This time you got what you Ultimately deserved, a defeat.
You do jave a good team. Just a dino of a manger.
