To answer that 5 times in 89 games, 2 of those were after we won the title last season

Nope, he really doesn’t. He’s way to over optimistic that I agree and I have told him a number of times, Spurs ain’t winning the league this season, but he puts subtle hints in all of his articles and he has you Liverpool fans flocking every single time.

As I already explained that is more down to late goals than anything else. A massive 12 point swing if those late goals for Liverpool and against Spurs don`t go in.
Why do you think Spurs are going to just suddenly stop conceding late goals?

Law of averages, nothing lasts for ever. Spurs still in my opinion have the better squad, and it will show as the season progresses. Liverpool are very reliant on there front three, who will be burnt out my mid Jan/Feb. Spurs have plenty of players to come in to help out Bale, Lamela, Vincinius, Moura etc, etc.

I haven't waved the white flag yet as its still early days but I don't buy into the encouraged by the performance narrative. Weds was soul destroying as once again Liverpool did what winners do and found a way to win and we did what losers do by missing great chances at 1-1 and ending up with nothing.
I was already narked with the way we allowed Palace to dominate us in the 20 mins leadinp up to their equaliser so I want to see a proper performance and 3 points on Sunday.
