Might start a just given page for Donn and Lowfields to fund the £700 million required to give us equity against the top sides.

Have you two been in a coma for 15 years?

Quick reminder : Whilst Man Utd were winning trophy after trophy and building and even bigger club with more income we were placing scarves on Billy’s statue not knowing whether we even had a club still to support.

We all want better.
We all want Leeds back at the top
Where the £700m coming from?

posted on 20/12/20

Just blown £100 million on Rodrigo, Raphina, Koch, Lorente and Costa

posted on 20/12/20

Which makes us a £150m squad

So where is the other £700m+ coming from to get spending equity with Man Utd , Man City , Chelsea ?

Even midtable squads have cost £350m+

How much are you putting in Lowfields?

So you don’t have the money?

Guess we should sack Bielsa then and try and go for Tony Pulis to get us the 38 0-0 draws you are craving so badly. Shame but he’s doing a really great job at Sheffield Wed. How about Allardyce....he makes teams hard to play against......oh they lost 0-3 to villa.

Where’s George Graham - is he available 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just need Wingman to comment now, alongside Donn and Lowfields, and we’ve got the three horsemen of the apocalypse 🤦🏼
Wonder what they’re like to live with?....Just imagine ...all hope drained out of you for your entire life.
What a way to live.

I really enjoyed the football today. For a season or two I’d rather live through and watch the ups and downs of our last two matches, rather than be a few meaningless points higher up the table by playing a dour defensive shut-up-shop hanging on type of football, which is no more guaranteed to keep us up. I know which I’d put my money on.

Its either Bielsas way or the highway.
-----
That is exactly how it should be.

Its transformed us from 13th to 3rd to Champions to some of the best performances this season in the Prem.

Nearly 30 years ago we were level with man u, but that was 30 years and a billion pounds ago.

I dont like the scoreline, we can all see areas to improve, but we're going in the right direction I feel.

A good defence is part of football.Surley you can do both have a good defence and good attack Bielsas football is only exebision stuff. And the young gk will lose his nerve with all the batteringhe gets.

Poor Donn must be 6-2 the stomach.

And we spent a substantial risk amount of money on 2 international defenders in an attempt to strengthen in this area.

What would you have done differently?

We have two centre backs injured. How difficult is it to understand that we will struggle against some teams until we get at least one of them back?

No, rediculous is when Donn gives his crap and you lick it up!..

Or maybe when you give your's!..

Whichever, it must be very nice entangled in your demented lives!..

We all have to admit last night’s result was embarrassing and the boys didn’t help the cause with a generally poor performance in one of the most important matches of the season. However, the system we play is not in question - it’s the reason we love Bielsa. We move on and show the faith.

Losing 6-2 is embarrassing and only an idiot would suggest otherwise. Still, Man Utd are not our main fish to fry. We've gotta make sure we beat the sides in the bottom 8 and keep ourselves out of harms way. With only 1 fit CB and only 1 actual full back, we need to hit the transfer window well.

I think a good thing is that as harsh a lesson as that would have been for the players, they have shown a remarkable resiliance and ability to bounce back under Bielsa and a huge trust in his process and methods. It'll be heads down and get on with it for them.

My only concern is that with all that said we now don't have a fit senior centre back who plays there as their main position and playing a growing proportion of players out of position. Can we do enough going forward against a very physical set piece oriented Burnley to make up for any frailties at the back.I am backing Bielsa and the lads to find the answer but a huge test coming up for sure

Couldn't agree more!

We all know that there are weaknesses in the side. But we have literally just been promoted, what do people expect. You have to be a top four side to not have big weaknesses.

What we have is a system that has got a lot more points out of this squad than anyone else could have. The squad continues to over achieve points wise. Because the benefits of playing this way clearly outweigh the negatives. I don't know how people are so desperate to refuse to accept this. The points tally is the proof.

The other aspect is that with this way of playing we can progress. Go defensive and you know it can only get you so far. We would have to change again in a few years. Stick with this, improve the players and we will rise so much quicker.

And it's also brilliant to watch. Anyone who would prefer to watch George Graham football over this must be mad. And for the record his win percentage in the premier league for us was the same as our current win percentage this season. That's with an established premier league squad. Not newly promoted.

Last night wasn’t an important game for Leeds to be reasonable for a moment. As others have pointed out, your battles are in the bottom half of the table. Based on what I saw yesterday and have seen so far this season I hope you stay up and keep being entertaining fans. You’re great value, for Leeds sc*m.

That game was nowhere near “one of the most important matches of the season”.

It was a game we should have expected to lose - like Liverpool, City, maybe Arsenal, Everton, Spurs, Leicester and a few others.

We are nowhere near the finished article but can still hold our own in most games.

I was more disappointed when we lost to West Ham because we created very little that game.

There’s positives from yesterday but it still hurts because it’s ManU.

Over the last 10 seasons (30 teams) including this there has only been 3 promoted sides that have had a higher points total at this stage. All 3 had 19 points from their first 14 games.

Wolves had 16 points at this stage in their first season back.

That is the worst argument I have ever heard. I'm sorry but you just sound like you lack intelligence to understand. I don't know if you are doing it deliberately or not. Anyway good luck to you, I feel like you need it with whatever you are doing today.
