Despite the controversy surrounding Grantham, the character of Den remains one of the most popular and high-profile characters in EastEnders history and was voted the 75th greatest television character of all time in a Channel 4 poll.
Seagulls and Magpies are Premier. A land we can only dream about at the moment.
He wasn't known as dirty Den for nuffin.

That's right, he was just plain old Dirty Den
I quite like the word "dirty". The dirty thirty, a good name for a poor-know firm. Also like the word "bird". Slang for a girlfriend or slang for a spell inside.
It can also mean an anonymous person as in "a little bird told me. And not forgetting dat legendary punter/gambler Alex Bird. He was the reason some bookmakers wore incontinence pants !!
Today I'm clinging to the ope that we beat dem four nil at the bush last year.
It's feasible dat three of our ex-players could figure today. Bidwell,Manning and Routledge.
Well, just Bidwell starts wiv the other two as subs. We ave two strikers for a change.
Same old story, a track by "Taste" a sixties band fronted by Rory Gallagher. Best side in the first arf but go in a goal down cos we can't score. Norwich and 2021 are looming and I don't fink we ave any answers.
Good to see Watford ave softened up Norwich for us. It's gonna be a bad Christmas for dem canaries.
