We had Martinelli which is frustrating as he looks very good. Wouldn't take any of their other players at all. They are sheite

Reckon Gabriel, Tierney, partey start for yous. Not much else really.

Gabriel....no thanks he looks rash

Tierney is ok

Partey has hardly pulled up trees and in my view there is better out there

Yeah, but they'd still start for you imo.

How foolish were some of us, myself included, to promote Arteta's coaching credentials just because he's a Pep Guardioloa protege.

How foolish were some Arsenal fans, former players included, to overplay their lucky victory over us at OT. Roy Keane was the only critic who downplayed Arteta's supposed credentials and messianic touch.

Some people are always meant to be in the background, Arteta for me is one.

Gabriel wouldn’t start ahead of Maguire in my opinion and they both play the left sided CB position.
Tierney is decent going forward but poor defensively. Not much difference between him and Shaw.
Partey may well start but I think he is massively overrated

It was only 7 weeks ago when arsenal beat us 1-0 and all the 606 experts were telling us how Arteta has a clear plan which was starting to take shape while Ole was clueless and United had no chance of top 4

Funny what a few weeks difference can make

......

It is probably to early to say that about him. But you do have a very valid point. Brian Kidd is a classic example. As is Phelan.

Wasn’t just 606 lot. I seem to remember Tim Cahill and Ian Wright also saying it.

Because we played Cowardly and sheite at the same time. We were truly woeful in that match and gave them far too much respect.

Cahill was smirking at Keano when Keano was having none of it, seeing right through his cronyism.

I'd have Gabriel ahead of Maguire. He's rash, as you say, but Maguire is utterly brain dead at times.

Tierney is a couple of levels above Shaw. Hes good going forward and defensively. Been exposed for pace a couple of times, but thats bound to happen in our set up.

Versus City, Chelsea and Arsenal the approach was identical. Disappointing and equally infuriating.

You'd take Maguire in that leaky defence any day.

Enjoy Championship next season

Honestly think we'd be worse off if Maguire was there instead of Gabriel.
