Why??
Rolled around like a Japanese sniper took him out last week, all from everybody yet played a blinder today????
He's pure class, our best player right now. It's mad we can spend 70m on an average player like Pepe when we have such a talent coming through the youth ranks for free.

What a ridiculous comment. You are making yourself look very idiotic tonight, and somewhat obsessed. Calm down and go to bed, you drunken mess.
What impresses me most about him is how good he is at holding onto the ball in tight spaces and dribbling confidently with the ball at his feet. Rarely loses the ball under pressure and almost always finds the right pass. Definitely one of our best technical players since Cazorla left.
Even with our dire performances up until recently, he's got to be in with a shout for Young Player of the Season if he continues in the same way. If he can improve his finishing then I can see him taking the same trajectory as Sterling has.
I think he is Arsenal through and through too, so I hope we can keep hold of him for many years to come, even if the big clubs come knocking.

It doesn't matter where you play Saka or what formation we're playing or even what form the rest of the team is in, Saka stands out - that's a sign of top quality.
How long can arsenal keep a hold of this talent?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really hope you just mean best performing player right now as opposed to actual best. He's alot of thing but our outright best player isn't one of them. He's simply the one playing the best right now.
Already seeing the rinse and repeat signs of the youngster who comes in and has a great first year (when still a very unknown entity to those he's playing against. Then he has the inevitable dry spell as the league bbegins to figure him out, goes a few games not doing it and suddenly it becomes "Aaw thought he'd go all the way but nah he's rubbish." And the fan abuse nightmare begins for him. I already know he'll continue to do well but I do worry for him when it all stops going his way quite so easily, as it always does with youngsters. Arsenal fans are gits when it comes to this, contributed to a few players having their confidence smashed.
WB2, pretty much since breaking into the first team - and certainty for most of this season - Saka, being our main (often only) creative outlet, has been targeted by the opposition. Yet he has come through that so far, not only unscathed, but with enormous credit too.
The reintroduction of ESR and Martinelli should now not only take him out of the firing line a bit, meaning less of him being booted into the stands, but will hopefully mean the creative side of his game will come even more to the fore as he has more freedom around him.
He IS out best player right now, and has been all season.
To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.
Saka is in his second year as a first team player, so WB2s points seem rather erroneous.
Can't praise him enough for his performances this season. At his age his development has been nothing else than amazing. So happy that he just signed a new contract with us.
Him and also the introduction of Martinelli, ESR brought him new life into this struggling Arsenal team. A special mention also to Kieran Tierney who is also in this mould but with more experience than the other guys.
I meant his current form WB2 and with Partey out and Auba's dry spell, but he's part of a group of 6 or 7 top players we have that we can build the team around. I don't share your concerns about him tbh, he's gone past the point of being a prospect with potential to a quality player in his own right and his mentality and attitude is also really impressive. He got all A*s and As at GCSE's while coming through our academy which is pretty amazing. Still need to be cautious and not overplay him or put too much pressure on but at the same time we don't want to hold him back as well.
I fully expect his England international career to pick up and him to become the next target for thinly-veiled racist flack from The Mail and other rags. And I fully expect him to rise above that come through that with no problems. Smart kid.

You know damned well the point I'm making is that he's still birthing his career. Plenty of adversity to come and an inevitable form drop. Which is when alot of people hyping him now will turn on him. Sadlly it's what too many AFC fans do. I know it and you know it. So why not address that instead of yet again being pedantic and nitpicking, actually purely for the sake of distracting from the valid point made. You like the kid so you should be as concerned about this as I am, if not more because you know the fanbase as well as I do if not better

That's all I mean. Not played too much and not "He's gonna save Arsenal" from the fans. Barr the one acting of sensible I've seen from Arteta yesterday (pulling him at 70) I'. not seeing either. Fans have lost it and gotten way to carried away. Yeah he's beyond prospect but he's got a long way to go to complete adult player. Plenty can and will happen and this is setting up to be a "Gooners boo and slate the confidence out of a kid as soon as it starts going wrong."

You are using a very small sample pool to justify your case when the larger evidence shows players often play a lot as youngsters and not suffer career ending injuries.
