But you won the league at a canter last year without Thiago so you can’t suddenly tell me his absence this season is the reason you’ve dropped more points.
I’m sure you watch Liverpool much more than me, but I would of thought VVD alone is a bigger loss than all of the fringe players you just named combined?

His absence isn't the reason we've dropped all those points. It's him plus the others I mentioned.

How much game time last year did all those others get?
Yeah we certainly have been wasteful in some games this season. But that hasn't been helped by our injuries in defence and midfield either.
I guess at the end of the season you will be able to compare minutes played to last year, but so far it seems you’ve largely had your fullbacks and front 3 which are obviously huge to how you play, and Fabinho has been excellent at cb whenever I’ve seen you. Not too shabby given most clubs have suffered due to COVID and subsequent injuries.
