Kante is living off performances years ago.
And if Andy Robertson is world class then so is Tierney because he's Scotland's best left back.
TAA should defo be included, not at his high standards this season but the prior two seasons don’t see how he can’t be considered world class.
Kante for me has not been world class since Conte left. His reputation precedes him sometimes..

Taa probably should be considered world class but there’s still a fairly big question mark on his defending. Rest of his game is superb..I’d probably include him.

In articles like this on ja there’s always a subgroup of fans who are committed to not recognising TAA and/or Robertson as world class players and I always end up in long debates with them. Well, not today!

The problem with Trent its not about trying to compile a Top 5 or 10 list of RBs and excluding him. The issue with Trent and I say this as an England fan is the issues with his game. and there are so many more particular his positioning.
Just try and compare Trent's positioning and Ashley Cole and its miles apart. Thats where his game is supposed to be going, not his obvious technical attributes at long and short passing.
Granted he is badly out of form this season but even last season I was not convinced by Trent as an all round fullback.
Kante is still up there. The problem is that he gets asked to do things outside his comfort zone, which doesn't suit him. If purely used as DM to break play and recover possession, then there are no many better than him at that.
Makele was the same.

Kante shouldn't be in there as others have mentioned
Liverpool have some brilliant players but a lot of credit needs to go to the manager. I'm sure some players at the rest of the top 6 would have reached far higher levels personally had they been at Liverpool rather than the other clubs.
You left out Aguero. He is injury prone but is still world class.

I said on the live thread that each year when it comes to POTY and Ballon d'Or fans moan when Messi and Ronaldo win the prizes but the pretenders namely Mane and Mbappe simply don't do enough. Mbappe threatened to explode during the last world cup but doesnt turn up enough in europe. Mane simply doesnt have the goals in him. I have given up on him especially at his age.
For me KDB is potentially the next Ballon d'Or winner
