But then his use of the 5 subs rule didn’t really tally with the strength of his feeling either, so perhaps there’s another agenda there or maybe he was just frustrated and chose that subject to have a pop.

If we had rested the big guns then they would have gone pretty much two weeks without a game when we play United, which is now a huge game. Last season when we had a two week break we came back looking like $hit. Need to keep the players from getting too rusty.
