So he’s turned into Pepe?
In terms of experienced PL players he is up there. Any signing from United or Chelsea has been bad for a long time. We need to stop thinking their cast offs are worth while.

He’s 100% in the top 5 along with Kepa and Keita. I actually think Willian belongs in there too even though he came on a free
Willian is playing against us.Thats what his performances look like unless thrre is some undiscovered injury that is making him so poor

Kepa certainly, Keita has actually performed in more than a few games..
Spare a thought for £45m Haller. Has no idea he cost that much.
Would definitely make it into a flop XI along with Pepe, Pogba and Veron.
Pogba has been miles better than Keita, not even a debate who the bigger flop is there
Really? ok
Pogba was £90m ffs!

What is Pepes G/A output?
Spoken like a man with a firm grasp on the facts
Willian is clearly playing even worse than Pepe on the field, he has been extraordinarily bad, Pepe hasn’t reached those levels of awful.
If you factor in costs (which is not a players’ fault) then Pepe is clearly worse, they both have ridiculous salaries but Willian cost nothing and Pepe cost 72 million quid !! It has to be the worst financial purchase of a player in the history of Arsenal football club. Buying Pepe seems to have cost Raul Sanllehi his job and quite rightly so.
Some people think Pepe is going to massively improve but I don’t see it, I’d love to be wrong but I’m not holding my breath, the PL appears to be too tough for him.
The biggest problem we have is that I think we’re stuck with both of them because I highly doubt anybody else would be stupid enough to pay their salaries even if we offered them for free !

Kepa was actually good in his first year which made last year even more baffling. Still a contender of worst ever signing though
Yesterday's game showed the difference between William and Pepe. Pepe created a great chance for Willock to score, and carried the ball well through numerous challenges. He made runs in behind and helped stretch Newcastle's defence. He still took on the occasional poor shot from distance, but he was trying to make things happen and he puts a decent ball into the box every now and then. He got into goalscoring positions and had shots blocked or good tackles made on him.
Willian gave the ball away with poorly placed or weighted passes on a regular basis. He doesn't work hard enough defensively and has been at fault for many goals we have conceeded this season, and both Tierney and Mari had to cover for his mistakes yesterday. Going forwards he appears completely devoid of confidence and he doesn't look to beat a man or deliver a cross because he's so low on confidence. His set piece delivery was sometimes ok, but other times poor.
Right now Pepe looks like he might make something happen, even if he is frustrating in often trying too much or making the wrong decision. Willian is playing safe in possession and offers very little. Given the choice Pepe is the only one I'd be giving minutes to of the two.
Pepe is horrendous
The difference between Willian and Pepe is that the latter actually tries.
If he played with Willian’s attitude he wouldn’t even be a professional footballer

Although I think that’s a bit generous to Pepe I’d largely agree with that, he did try harder yesterday after being called out so publicly for his lack of effort in previous games and there is no doubt in my mind that his transfer fee is weighing on him. I don’t think he’s ever going to be worth a first team place but if he had joined for £7.2m instead of £72m and as a squad player then I think things would have been much easier for him.
Willian should go back to Chelsea
We don't take our used stuff back....thanks anyway
Willian's confidence is shot but he had quality, Pepe is bang average at best. Neither one should be in our starting XI.

People definitely focus too much on transfer fees and not enough on wages. Bale will cost us more this season than Doherty for example.
Anyway I think the worst ever Arsenal player I’ve seen is Jenkinson - he’s also up there with one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen too.
