I struggle to call Di Maria a flop - he was ok for Utd then got sold for roughly the same he was bought for.
Naby Keita isn’t a bad shout - from a Spurs point of view Helder Postiga is my most hated flop; was our most expensive signing or something at the time but ended up scoring as many for us as he did for Portugal against England the summer after (2). Hate the bloke.

Ya tend to agree on Di Maria. Had some good moments and we recouped a lot of that we paid for him.
Similar to Lukaku really.

I'd say Veron was probably better than Di Maria at United, and I wouldn't necessarily put either in an all time flop XI.

Torres to Chelsea surely? Far more of a flop than Veron at United. Veron was ok for United and actually quite decent in Europe for us.

I always felt he never got a fair crack of the whip. He’s play decent for a bit and keep his place then have one bad game and get dropped for a while.
A little like Fred’s 1st season in many ways.
