I think the club should come out with a bit more detail of the fallout from this latest clusterfck, they need to explain how long exactly players are out and if they need to miss the game next Weds at Livi too. Is it the Tues or Weds the 10th day of isolation? Not that it matters but the fans will still be watching the games. 2 games btw, last night and Saturday us season ticket holders will be paying £30 a pop roughly to watch our reserves struggle to create a chance
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought it odd that Strachan declared that the only regret they had was Julian catching covid. If that is not head in he sand stuff then what is...
Also:
Whatever happens you can rest assured John Kennedy will still be in the dugout though Probs him and Brown the new management team
That is my understanding after he weekend comments

Yup, there's not much to grin about.
After yesterday's events, I've been trying to think of another word to describe our season, as "clusterfook" no longer seems strong enough.
Looking at the bigger picture and into next season, I said the other day we could be in some nick come the summer, with most of our better players probably wanting pastures new. Which of our first team squad players would we A) like to keep, AND B) think will be keen to stick around? Think it's a pretty small group!
Keepers? ... Nope
LBs? ... Nope (as Laxalt will be away for sure)
RBs? ... Frimpong (with a very big caveat that his defending needs to improve massively, as does his final ball)
CBs? ... Jullien (at a push, altho' he might want away, and he's pretty injury-prone)
Midfield? ... Forrest, Soro, Turnbull, and that's about it (pretty sure both Calmac and Christie will want away, and Ely will be gone)
Strikers? ... Griff?
Some rebuilding job for whoever gets the new manager gig.

The players that would get the bigger fees are the ones who will only have a year left in the summer. That would worry me.
I do want to see Ajer and Edouard leave, hopefully Griffiths too but nobody would buy him so he will stay.
McGregor meh, hope he stays tbh i don't rate him.
It is football - sugar or scheite. It is not as bad right now. A good manager appointment can change everything including the players that want to stick around. Look at how BR improved so many meh players we already had.
Saw something in the press about us not recalling Hendry who is apparently doing well at Ostende and getting 90m pretty much every week now. They have an option to buy and look likely to take it up? Else he enters his last year with us.
Fash ... CalMac hasn't had a great season for us (who has?!), but I'm prepared to cut him some slack. I've said repeatedly on here, as have others, that he was playing FAR too much football over the last 3 seasons or so (for club and country). More mins than anyone in Europe at one point, and by a fair distance. No surprise to me he's been toiling.
We saw how Rodgers improved players and equally how Lennon made some of the same ones look like carthorses
Getting the right management team in is crucial.
Silver ... Aye, I've absolutely no doubt that a good, or even half decent, manager would get far more out of this squad. Lenny has taken us so far backwards it's actually quite astonishing. It takes some doing to have a season where every single player is under-performing (he hasn't had time to feck up Turnbull yet, altho did his best by not playing him for long enough).
Do I have confidence in our club to find us a decent manager? ...
Next season players who will still be at the club
Hazard
Julien
Taylor
Frimpong
Welsh
Hendry
Soro
Turnbull
Bitton
Johnston
Connel
Forrest
Henderson
Shved
Griffiths
Ajeti

I notice the guy signed for 4/5 million in July 2020 on a 4 year deal is missing and, I believe, Hendry is on an option to buy loan deal.
Well Joe's squad looks utter scheidt, apart from Turnbull and possibly Griffiths and doesn't exactly give me the fear.
If Celtic don't buy some decent players they will be fvcked again next season

Yasss! Mags will get into CP with the GB stuck outside!
THOUSANDS of people who have had their jabs to protect them against Covid-19 are in line to receive an accompanying health passport as part of a UK Government trial due to begin later this month.
The health passport, seen as a way of helping to reopen parts of society such as pubs, restaurants and football matches to the public, will come in the form of a free digital app, which will enable people to prove they have been vaccinated and are Covid-free.
