We are not getting top 4. It’s been obvious for a while that there are many other better teams.

Points 1 and 3 are hugely valid, and so obvious. Mourinho is either very arrogant for sticking to this failing plan, or just tactically out of his depth now.

Liverpool, United and City you'd say above us.

Rest is all up for grabs, Chelsea could improve. Leicester and Everton may not go away.

The sissoko decision today was farcical

No we are not.

If in every game, we miss chances to make it 2 or more gaols, then in every game, we drop deep, ore and more...We won't get top 4 unless others drop points too

Jose out and I was prepared to endure him to see how it went.

No doubt in my mind now Jose out and give us a "football" manager who wants to play decent football and not play attack against defence every second half.

Unfortunately Jose will never get past point 1.

Levy needs to act swiftly. Drop points to Sheffield and he needs to go.

Team selection is literally the basics. I have no idea what Jose was thinking, surely he's purposely facking us fans, I domt get it.

The thing is, with the way the league is currently poised, if we were to get rid of Jose and bring in a progressive manager who would hopefully welcome a new manager bounce, we could easily find ourselves in a very good position

Same here
I was gutted when Poch wasn't backed and then got the sack
Wasn't keen on Jose either but then the first few games, we won at a canter with goals galore, so decided to back Jose. But then along came so weird team selections and stupid results...

Now, I am not looking forward to our league games from now.

Jose if you are reading:

1. Stop playing Sissoko
2. Play Dele. He's been out the team long enough PLUS the rest of the AMs are poor
3. Stop playing Lucas
4. Do not play Sanchez. Why the fack did alderweireld play against Marine and not today
5. Stop playing 2 DMs, especially at home to relegation teams!!!
6. Stop sitting back every facking game UNLESS away to Lpool or City. Those are the only 2 acceptable games out of all 38 league matches
7. Give Kane and Son a rest more often considering they are the only ones saving your bacon
8. Don't bring Davies or Doherty back into the 11 which I know you facking will
9. Stop passing the buck in interviews about "i did not tell them to sit back" fack off
10. Most importantly please resign because we all know levy will never sack you

I hate it when managers lay the blame with players...Take some responsibilities.

posted on 13/1/21

He's deflected again and blamed the players. Was there any point in actually watching the match. It went exactly how we all would have predicted, right down to his post-match interview.

He seems to blame the players but I think he's causing it as although he's probably not saying they should defend for 90 mins, there's no doubt that he doesn't like players being out of position, even with the ball. That fear of venturing out or being brave means that the safest way of playing without Jose's criticism is to concede possession but hold positions.

The players are scared. No question in my mind. We need a manager the lauds bravery... a bit like the one we just sacked that's just won his first trophy at PSG... already.

We all saw the team sheet and immediately knew what would happen, we were proved right. If we can see it, why can`t Mourinho.

Imo Mourinho`s tactics work if you have the players to execute it, unfortunately Spurs don`t. We have too many error prone and technically inept players.

We should be changing the way we play to accommodate our best footballers, not leaving them sat on the bench wasting their talent.

Things are not right when you have limited Carthorses like Sissoko as the first name on the team sheet. We have quality players not being used and blind faith being put into players who are clearly not good enough.

Its all so predictable and tiresome, strange times.

No way would the tactics be tolerated with fans in the ground

You don’t have the players to keep the ball for long enough periods and Jose won’t buy those type of midfielders.

He will look to utilise Kane and Son on the counter relying on their ability to create and score goals then hope not to concede.

It’s the Jose template, he’s won many titles playing this way and he will never change.

Of course. But the general drop off of late in the second halves is astounding regardless.

The good news is that missing out on top 4 will break Levy's love in with Mourinho and lead to him leaving sooner. I mean let's be honest, is anyone expecting things to get better the longer Mourinho is here? The longer he's here the more chance of him losing the dressing room with players getting tired of his methods and his criticism of them.

The bad news is that no top 4 means our good players could leave. But maybe they would anyway.

posted on 14/1/21

He will be gone soon. He is losing the dressing room.

So glad he's not our manager anymore. He had his one moment in history but he's was he dup now. Game has moved on without him and his tactics.

i know United are a different beast to spurs but he at least won 3 trophies in a season and managed to finish 2nd with United.

he isnt going to do that at spurs unless their is change.

posted on 14/1/21

Funny thing is number 4 isn’t that much of an issue if you look at the % of set pieces conceded vs the league average.

It’s just that we are so negative we concede so many set pieces that it’s inevitable that one will go in

posted on 14/1/21

i just hope that we have at least one senior pro / coach in the whole place with the balls to actually tell Jose that it isn't working and he needs to change.

the fact that he cant see it for himself is alarming
