Yes. He wins the league cup, so even if he finished 6th he would buy himself another season.

yes.. and it will all come crumbling down.

only way i can deal with the current awful negative joke tactics is to deliver the league cup plus one other... if that happens then fair enough.. but then he can go and we can get a manager who brings our soul back....

how can such a free flowing attacking early season side turn into such a defensive joke?

we need a progressive manager.... out and out defence will never be accepted at spurs, unless it delivers a league, and it simply wont.

I respect Jose for what he has won in the game, his record is amazing.

Thing is we dont have players good enough in defence bar Reg and Toby to do what he wants them to do.

As soon as Sanchez was announced i shat myself.

If fans were at the ground and we didn't make top 4, I think he'd be gone. Luckily for Jose, no fans at the ground is his saving grace, as we're not getting to hear all the boos and fan discontent. Sadly I think he'll escape and get given another season, if we at least finish in the top 6.

3 DMs on the pitch at the same time was more of the issue.

think with the money it costs to sack him he will make it at least half way through next season, depends on if things really are up the chitter.

its whether Kane makes it to next season. If City put in a serious offer then he would surely be interested if we have no CL football next season and just a league cup if that to show.

if we have no CL football then we will have totally facked this up. the league itself is completely wide open, and we are pisssssing away unnecessary points every couple of weeks through nothing other than sheer tactical nonsense. its so frustrating

Thing that grinds my gears, if we didn't concede late equalisers against Newcastle, West Ham, Wolves and Fulham wed be about 8 points clear at the top

don't do that to yourself... also remember we got undeserved late winners at west brom and burnley which we easily could have not done. brighton at home too

His record used to be amazing. He's been on a downward trajectory ever since he came back to England. He's only won trophies in 2 seasons in his last 7 seasons now, and has had less top 4 finishes in that time than Poch had.

Every team can play that game though to be fair.

i was patient and gave him a shot, but my initial fears are coming into fruition - jose Mourinho and Tottenham hotspur, from a style and philosophy perspective, is just not a good fit.... we simply don't have the mentality, ability, or even the will at the football club to play defensive football.

the main issue is its the same pattern every game we are drawing.

Mourinho is actually holding us back from a title challenge. Quite ironic when you consider he was brought in to win us trophies.

What if he wins the Europa? Then he could finish 6th and still get CL football. And he'll be the most successful Spurs manager in the modern era.

3 goals in last 7 minutes really is absolutely absurd. those two games we actually played well for the majority of it. What cant be said for Palace, Wolves, Fulham.

even the wins we scraped vs WBA, Burnley and Brighton.

Most of those sides are bottom half/relegation sides.

If he's still here next season then there will be too much damage for the next manager to unwind quickly.

If we got a new manager in the summer I'd be very excited with our squad.

Levy is obsessed with CL football. If Jose can't deliver it after 2 seasons I can't see how he stays. My only worry is the ridiculously long contract levy gave him. Hopefully there is some CL related break clause.

True, but that won't happen, the only way we will win big with Jose is to get a mega rich owner, but we have Monopoly guy in charge and he wont go no where.

Based on all four games, you’d have 8 more points if it wasn’t for late equalisers, which would put you above us by only 2 points.

That’s is all of them went your way.

We could say the same about the Leicester game, for example
