Looking at the meal we've made out of Burnley, WBA and Fulham there is no evidence to suggest that it will be anything other than a hard slog.
I reckon we will go 1 up after about 20 mins then miss 2 or 3 big chances to get the vital 2nd goal. After the break they will take over and some bloke I've never heard of will get a deserved equaliser in the 89th minute.
Fulham played well in the 2nd half yesterday. We should have put the game to bed in the 1st half and paid the price. They were always going to react in the 2nd half and we were not able to match them.
Another thing a lot of people missed yesterday was that when we did open up the game in the 2nd half we looked like conceding lots of goals.
I am not convinced that it was our tactics, more the players not taking responsibility or being up to the task.
Don't think he would ever admit that he got it wrong, so can't see anything changing anytime soon

Fulham were always in the game, they started bright and were always up for it and played a good game throughout. Our quality came through in parts first half and should have built a bigger lead. Second half we were a disgrace so no surprise that it looks like Fulham played well only second half when actually they did all match.

Bale has looked poor for sure but he hasnt played much football for ages now, hes at least an big attacking name who offers threat and excitement. We could win or lose 3-2 or something, i dont care, its a system that can improve rather than the hold on and hope tactics were currently hold dear.

Our approach should be to go into the second half a goal down so we can be on the offensive and look for goals. Might be too alien a concept for Jose and our team though.

Bale's lack of tracking back worries me. We need to stick with Sissoko or one of the others otherwise we'll start dropping points and conceding late goals.
if jose sends out an attacking team with intent, and we don't win the game then at least we can look at the players and ask whats going on. at the moment, for as much as he wants to deflect blame, he is accountable for the current nonsense we are serving up

Hard to know who the underdog is in this match. Bet Sheffield United can't believe their luck that after getting a first win under their belt they get another great chance of some points.
Let's be clear though, if we lose or even draw this, I want Jose to be sacked and thrown out of the door head first.

Big game mate and hard to call due to our defensive deficiencies. Full strength I would expect us to win.
That said defeat is hardly the cataclysmic disaster being predicted for either team.
Its like the NLD form goes out the window in these games. Also they are normally turgid, boring encounters. Its been a while since I saw a good game between the two

Our approach should be to go into the second half a goal down so we can be on the offensive and look for goals. Might be too alien a concept for Jose and our team though.
