Leeds only had a 10 minute spell and they played some decent football. after their goals we were still the better team and could've scored another 3 or 4

People here need to take their red and white tinted glasses off and look at the game in a more broad and more neutral way

First one or second one?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
First saka one.
The actual pen we got was clearly a pen
With Bamford they took him out and got no where near the ball. How the feck wasn't that a pen
Youd all be shouting an anti arsenal agenda if auba was fouled like that with no pen. Its not even debatable. Its a stonewall pen for Bamford
The first pen against Saka wasn’t a pen but I don’t see what was so clear and obvious that warranted it being overturned. There is no consistency from VAR. They have let far worse slide. Because it was an Arsenal penalty overturned nothing will be said about it

Bamford pen shout was never a pen, Bamford runs into the Arsenal defenders and goes over too easily. Yes the first pen we had which VAR overturned wasn't a pen.

Have a day off, Bamfords was never a pen. Both Cedric and Gabi closed him out, it’s gd defending. No chance in a million yrs are they getting that.
The Bamford one is exactly what happens when a defender shepperds the ball out for a goal kick. Pathetic from souness
Both were infront of him aswell
Did saka dive for the first pen incident then? If there was any contract at all then it's a pen because he leaned into him, whether it's soft or not is irrelevant. Certainly not an obvious error.

If you are David Luiz it’s a foul. reality is Saka was going down before contact was made. It’s one of those where you are angry when it goes against you. The problem here is the next time we are in that situation the decision WILL go against us and VAR will not review it

I know that, but he leaned into him and Saka fell in the same direction. in that situation it's either a dive or a pen, because any contact would have put Saka off balance.
The Saka one was more of a penalty than the Bamford one so Leeds can have no complaints. I could maybe see myself shouting pen if that happened to one of our players but I wouldn’t necessarily be correct. I don’t see a foul in there. Just Cedric and Gabriel beating him for pace and getting themselves between him and the ball. It’s only because he fell over that they’re even discussing it.
Souness interrupting the analysis to ask if they’re going to show a replay of it is embarrassing. I’ve never heard a pundit do that. He actually claimed that decisions were the difference today. He’s a classic example of a pundit who Sky now just employ out of habit rather than because he provides any actual insight.

Souness doesn’t like us. He berated Wenger in his later yrs for playing an open attractive style even if it meant us getting destroyed by teams but yet praises Bielsa ball. Considering that Souness was a hardman player I can guarantee if that was him closing Bamford out and their were appeals against him he’d have gone mad. Guy is delusional.
