Raya is a good keeper, he's been a bit up and down recently but generally over the last year he's been good.

There are other areas of the team that way more surgery than the goalkeeping department that is for sure.

Agree, he's not the priority but if you want to win majors upgrading him with a top class goalkeeper would help that's for sure. Top class striker bigger priority though.

We haven't had a real striker since then, that's beyond disgraceful.

A lot of our players from keeper to defense to midfield to our forward line will come under a lot of criticism, but the core of the side that has been so close to winning the title is still there. Failing to freshen up the attack, given how thin the depth is there, was reetarded in the summer and I have no words for the January window debacle. Being short in one area of the team can affect every area. We need another Alexis Sanchez or even Aubameyang-type signing to give this very stale team a real lift.

Not angry about our performance tonight. We played well. We just can't score when we have the chances.

The problem is mate, the core of the side don't quite have what it takes to get it over the line and that includes the manager.

Look at Arteta as a player, he was a bit above average but did he even have the experience of winning major trophies as a player at Rangers / Everton or Arsenal? Not that I can recall.

The little bit of experience he got of how that's done was watching Pep as his assistant but that doesn't make him a winner when the big calls are on him in pressure situations.

Get a winner in and a couple of world class additions to the 1st XI (especially a clinical striker) and we can actually get over the line but if we don't do that next season, our best players will get picked off by clubs that do win majors and we'll be back to square one.

We don't have enough sharpshooters in the team, and that's what you really need to win the CL. Look at all of PSG's goals against us.

Need players who can put the ball in the back of the net regularl. To be fair their keeper made 3 world class saves which stopped certain goals. Pretty even game in the end, just not enough attacking quality to get over the line
