Are you nervous, excited or indifferent?

I'd take a draw right now if offered. No doubt about it.

I know they're not in the best of shape but they're a very good side who can cause anyone damage. We have to be on our guard early on and not let the game get away from us too early.

If we're on it, defend well, and take our chances then we have every chance. However, they'll be saying exactly the same too.

Last season we beat all of the top six apart from Liverpool so maybe this season it'll be not beating any of the other top six and beating them!

For the first time in a longtime I'm looking forward to it.. Nit overly confident but no worried.

Though come Sunday morning that'll change๐Ÿ˜‚.

Worst case scenario, we lose, best case we win and move 6 clear, middle case we draw and stay top.

Anfield is a fortress for them. Id would love it if we did take that record through a late Bruno VAR penalty though.

This is the sign of change when u look forward to a United Pool match.

Just like we ended Arsenal's record, we will do the same to Liverpool. (i hope)

It's a strange one for me. Back when we were dominating I used to feel sick the week before we played Liverpool, I'm not really bothered now. Whatever happens, happens.

I’ll be nervous when it gets close to kick off however I’m as relaxed as I’ve been before a Liverpool game in a long time.

The reality is whatever the result we will be at worst level on points at the top after Sunday with a very winnable run of games coming after it.

I'm excited, don't expect us to win and I just hope we can go there and not be too nervous or cagey.

Liverpool are better than us, not necesserily in terms of form but their squad, manager and how they operate as a team are still some way ahead and that's totally fine right now.

All I want to see is us give it a go and if we fail to get any points it won't be the end of the world.

It's a really hard one to call, I don't know if it'll be cagey or open, if there will be goals or not, anything could happen IMO. Liverpool are favourites and if they had a decent defence going into Sunday then I think they'd be pretty confident, but it doesn't look like they will and that will be in the back of Klopp's mind in terms of how he will approach the game. But then again we've done best againt the better sides when they have taken it to us and we are able to counter them which is a huge risk against a side like Liverpool but most likely the best way we can get a result.

Would be great to get 3 points, but if you were to offer me a draw now, I would take it.

I never look forward to these games much usually, as a loss is never enjoyable. Has a different feel about this one as they must be overwhelming favourites, so any sort of positive result will be a bonus.
Having said that, I probably won’t enjoy watching it live, unless we dominate from start to finish (very unlikely), but I’m not as nervous in the lead up to the game as I usually would be.

If I expected us to win the PL then I'd be more nervous about it. I'm just going to enjoy the game and hope we put on a good performance.

Last year at Anfield there was a clear gulf and it'd be nice to think we can be better on Sunday.

I'm nervous but on the surface I look calm and ready.

Always a massive game, every season, and probably a little bit of all three for me.

Won't be the same, watching it at home in lockdown, though.

Our next 7 in the league after Liverpool:

Fulham a
Sheff United h
Arsenal a
Saints h
Everton h
West Brom a
Newcastle h

Liverpool’s next 7

Burnley h
Spurs a
West Ham a
Brighton h
Man City h
Leicester a
Everton h

I’ve chosen 7 cos we play Chelsea and City away back to back after those. Regardless of the result Sunday I wouldn’t be shocked if we are ahead of Liverpool after that run with their away form.

City are obviously a problem also though.

They deserved the win but I thought we were ok that day and they were hanging on in the end a bit.

A little nervous, but while a defeat isn’t the end of the world (and probably expected) it would be a real shame to blow the advantage we’ve just got - and more importantly City could go above us. A win would be massive!

I expect them to turn up for this, like City did in the cup semi last week.

Reasons to be optimistic:
- no home crowd
- they’ve been on a poor run, we’re in some sort of form and have confidence
- we’re better away from home

Reasons to be pessimistic
- record against top sides is poor this season
- we’re not clinical enough
- strikers out of form

looking forward to the game.. i look forward to all utd games regardless of how we are playing.. part and parcel of being a supporter

one of the worst things if we lose is the fact we will have all to see the muppets on here acting like ole has clubbed to death a seal pup or has murdered a baby

This could be the game Thiago really announces his arrival in the PL too and runs the show. Hopefully without Fabinho around him dominating the centre of the park McT and Fred can get about and break up play well.

He had a stinker at Southampton. Hopefully he has another.

I'm not indifferent but will not be too bothered if we lose to be honest.

We are slowly developing as a team and these games provide opportunities to see where we need to get to.
