Feeling nervous about a game of football is just plain ridiculous - why am I bricking it?

It's a very important game for us today. I thought we were now done with going down to lower league sides but last week proved otherwise. It's therefore even more important that the players banish those demons - and it won't be easy because although Brighton have been struggling to get results, their performances have been pretty good.

We are 12th in the PL, a win today and we could be 12th.

We are 9 points off 18th and a win today ours us 12 point safe

We apparently have Llorente and Cooper back which finally gives us a defence and allows Ayling to return to rb and Dallas lb

I get that every match is important but why is this game more critical? Yes we had a shocking result in the cup but so what - we have had many of them?

I’m relaxed and delighted with where we are. Hoping for a win obviously but not pressured

I’m hoping for a win - the easier the better - but Brighton play good attacking football. A lot of the games I’ve seen they’ve been unlucky.

I think the concern is due to the Crawley match being one of the most abject performances ever by a team wearing LUFC shirts and the memories of abmissal Januarys post 3rd Round Cup defeats in recent times.

Strange dream last night obviously this game is on my mind but in the dream we were losing 2-1 at half time. That's it unfortunately don't know if we came back in the second half or if it's a bad omen I don't know but don't they say the opposite happens in dreams. I hope so.

Brighton are 3/1 to win. Good odds that.

Our best hope is they don't manage to get any shots off and we can get a two goal lead.

Literally zero confidence in Casilla to save ANYTHING. Any pot shot, corner, freekick from 40 yards I'm going to be bricking it.

Plus...Llorente if he's fit enough for the bench, surely he's okay to start now.

We need to have a proper defence. That defence is weaker than the one we got promoted with. In fact it's weaker than our defence from the last 2 seasons.

The worry is it is good to have faith in all your players but what if there is a blind spot where Kiko is concerned. I can only hope he shows something but am sure Brighton will be targeting him.

I think even with Brighton's low goal count we are going to need at least 4 goals to get a win.
