I have been watching us play great football under Poch, and get ZILCH, NADA trophy under him too

Think you need to look at the table again. We are 6th, not in the top 4. 7th if Villa win and draw their 2 games in hand.
I don't accept that this is the best we can do either with some of these players available. With more willingness to attack in games and better subs in order to find a second goal, we'd have won a lot more than we have.
Sanchez starting vs Fulham instead of Toby was a shocking decision. So much so it almost surpasses starting Sissoko RW as worst selection decision.

The defence is what it is. It's not the best but I don't want us to rely on it to protect a 1 nil lead. It's the attack we need to look to more.

I'm getting bored of hearing that we played great football under Poch and won nothing. I think the League Cup is our only realistic chance of silverware this season given the way we are playing. There is no guarantee at all that we will even that. So Mourinho fans could soon be saying, yes we play negative football under him but at least we've won nothing at all.

Of the five players you mentioned, Winks, Sanchez, Lucas and Lamela barely feature.
In a squad of 25 players, not everyone is going to be world class, so you will always be able to pick and choose average players to make a point.
The truth is we have strength and depth in most positions. We are capable of putting 11 quality players on the pitch at any given time.
What we don't have is a manager capable of getting them to perform to the best of their abilities due to his restrictive tactics.

I'll be firmly in the Mourinho out camp if we lose the final. For me he will have failed at the one thing he was brought in to do. Negative football combined with failure is not acceptable. Thankfully Levy will probably see that eventually.

We've addressed a few areas in the squad that we had not under Poch - a second striker, better midfield option in Hojbjerg, improved full back situation with Reguilon and Doherty, who has helped improve Aurier. And we've got an improved Ndombele having had more time at the club.
I would definitely want a trophy under Poch with this lot never mind Mourinho.

I am not a Jose fans so some on here making that link, are only doing it to serve their purpose.
This side pales into insignificance compared to thaht side with Jan, Dembele, Eriksen at his peak, Dele at his peak, Kane firing goals and a defensive unit that was one of the best.
But hey don't ley me stop you as it doens't help the narrative.
There is this strong urge in here instigated deliberately by some to forge camps of Jose and anti-Jose. Irrelevant that some of us support the club.

Heck, we played cr@p football under JR and got league cup to show for it in contrast!
I am sure if Poch was backed, it would have been probably a title and CL either or.
But I am watching us now, and yes we play bakwrd football, but maybe you need to think that's the best we can do right now with players like Winks. Sissoko, Sanchez, and Lamela/Moura?

Think you need to look at the table again. We are 6th, not in the top 4. 7th if Villa win and draw their 2 games in hand.
I don't accept that this is the best we can do either with some of these players available. With more willingness to attack in games and better subs in order to find a second goal, we'd have won a lot more than we have.

The defence is what it is. It's not the best but I don't want us to rely on it to protect a 1 nil lead. It's the attack we need to look to more.

I'm getting bored of hearing that we played great football under Poch and won nothing. I think the League Cup is our only realistic chance of silverware this season given the way we are playing. There is no guarantee at all that we will even that. So Mourinho fans could soon be saying, yes we play negative football under him but at least we've won nothing at all.

Of the five players you mentioned, Winks, Sanchez, Lucas and Lamela barely feature.
In a squad of 25 players, not everyone is going to be world class, so you will always be able to pick and choose average players to make a point.
The truth is we have strength and depth in most positions. We are capable of putting 11 quality players on the pitch at any given time.
What we don't have is a manager capable of getting them to perform to the best of their abilities due to his restrictive tactics.

I'll be firmly in the Mourinho out camp if we lose the final. For me he will have failed at the one thing he was brought in to do. Negative football combined with failure is not acceptable. Thankfully Levy will probably see that eventually.

We've addressed a few areas in the squad that we had not under Poch - a second striker, better midfield option in Hojbjerg, improved full back situation with Reguilon and Doherty, who has helped improve Aurier. And we've got an improved Ndombele having had more time at the club.
I would definitely want a trophy under Poch with this lot never mind Mourinho.

I back Jose and want him to succeed because if he does, then it's my team that benefits, it's me who gets excited.
While the team is working hard, and the manager is still in his first year, I'll back him.
It may not be pretty but hell yeah, we are in the top4 and in a final already before the end of January.

I note that you didn't say that this is the best we can do with players like Toby, PEH, Ndombele, Kane and Son.
I'm getting bored of hearing that we played great football under Poch and won nothing. I think the League Cup is our only realistic chance of silverware this season given the way we are playing. There is no guarantee at all that we will even that. So Mourinho fans could soon be saying, yes we play negative football under him but at least we've won nothing at all.

Yeah this is the best squad we've had in a while. It doesn't really stick when people try and throw out the personnel holding us back anymore. We've addressed a few areas in the squad that we had not under Poch - a second striker, better midfield option in Hojbjerg, improved full back situation with Reguilon and Doherty, who has helped improve Aurier. And we've got an improved Ndombele having had more time at the club.
I would definitely want a trophy under Poch with this lot never mind Mourinho.

That's the best Spurs side for a long time.
I am not a Jose fans so some on here making that link, are only doing it to serve their purpose.
This side pales into insignificance compared to thaht side with Jan, Dembele, Eriksen at his peak, Dele at his peak, Kane firing goals and a defensive unit that was one of the best.
But hey don't ley me stop you as it doens't help the narrative.

2016-17 I think you mean? And I said squad though, I didn't say team. Not having the squad cover back then is the primary reason I don't think we won anything.
That said this is the best team since then and it's being made to look worse than it is due to dodgy management.

Of course it is , these are the same people that were ranting about how good this squad is after the summers window, 1 or 2 saying the best squad they could remember
