I am personally struggling big style with Werner.... For the life of me I cannot see what all the fuss was about

I think you've just got to respect Werner for his stance in not celebrating scoring goals because of Covid by not scoring any goals.

Weren’t you solely blaming Lampard for his form just a few weeks ago?

Something to do with playing him out of position I would think... Which he wasn't yesterday

Just so we can understand what a fickle 'Supporter' we are dealing with here, this is the person telling us a short time ago what a great player 'Gonzalo Pigstain' was and how much we needed to bring him in over Tammy Abraham!

Wahl - innovative armchair manger or just a feckin idiot?

I'll let you decide!!

Yes I thought Higuain would be a good signing before he joined. it turns out he wasn't and was past his best.

What's wrong with that?

Drogba relied on his physical presence and give as good as he got from the biggest CBs, in the league. I can't Timo even having a sniff, against them tbh.

Timo is more technical and on the floor type of striker, whereas Drogba was an aerial and physcial monster!

Jamie Redknapp is clueless AF!
Shows his lack of knowledge in that game show!

More like Torres. When he had that chance he put wide, just seemed bereft of any confidence

Werner is currently making Torres look clinical

People forget werners young, has come from a different league, and plays up top or on the flank.

Probably the first time he's had a real crisis of confidence but he hasn't gone hiding. He may not be the goal machine some hoped but he is clearly a better player than he is showing atm

His versatility problem doesn't help or having a boss under pressure, with little experience. I'd say it's a bit of a cop out on frank part, celebrating what a coup he was, but n putting him out wide when he goes a few games without a goal. Not sure that's the best way to reverse his form.

Torres had the same situation when coming to Liverpool. Young, different country.. scored v Chelsea in his first appearance sending Tal Ben Haim for a taxi.

This is true. Lampard isn't helping Werner. It's almost like Chelsea signed without Lampard having any idea how he wanted to utilise Werner.

Yes but he had a boss who played to his strengths where as I think from watching Chelsea, they don't play to suit werners style.

When torres arrived u knew Gerrards main job was set him free asap. When I watch Chelsea I just don't see that. To be fair, Chelsea have a stronger squad than when Liverpool did when they bought torres, meaning werner isn't as essential to them as torres was to pool.

I do think that's relevant. I'll also say I've not seen werners at any point of his career look like he would replicate a prime torres but I may be proved wrong. They are similar in style

He was in exactly the right place yesterday... Technically he's generally poor, so which is it wahl... He's not good enough or it's lampard's fault
