The teams turned up to play their respective tactics - United’s meant conceding possession and territory, and sometimes chances, although they limited Liverpool very well.

So what does the ‘better team’ actually mean?

Hopefully we get the 0-0 like we did against City and Chelsea. Then hopefully we get the 0-0s in the reverse fixtures. How much would it infuriate everyone if we won the league by just beating bottom half teams? It would be excellent.
