Wolves are interested in 17-year-old Bolton winger Finlay Lockett. (Football Insider)

Youngest ever player to play for Bolton's first team too.

yea read that yesterday, bolton have closed down their U23's so seems a whole clutch of youngsters will just be let go

Just use the imagination Tino. Just seen him score a fantastic hattrick of bicycle kicks that way.

Now threats of bans for players in international comps if they were to be part of the Euro Super League.

How can they do that ?

posted on 21/1/21

No idea. Desperation is kicking in with the inevitability of a super league. I am sure they will get a slice and then be ok with it.

Tino, if you put up a compilation of the goals Traore scored, you too would be impressed with his goal scoring ability. However...

It is a fair point, you would have no idea Silva is slower than Ronald Koeman on those goal compilations

what all 6? rather see a compilation of hitting his crosses at our 10ft striker

I see your point, it shows the goals not the misses, much like a gambler mentioning their winnings not the ones they rip up. However, his actual record is more or less 1in3 in one of the big 3 leagues, for a side that's not really at the top of the tree that's still impressive no?

Koeman was slow in legs but quick in brains, unless of course you mean his brother Erwin, yea Im not sure where that memory came from either, probably a panini sticker book

Not sure about this Wiilan Jose fella. Only had 4 games where he lasted 90 mins in La Liga this season and certainly not a regular starter. Been out on loan too many times for my liking. Market value of 18m seems a bit much to me.

I do think the comment I like above about this new guy is that most of the goals are from 6 to 10 yards out. That’s exactly the type of player we need. We have Neto, Traore, Podence who are all excellent 20 or 30 yards out but rarely get into the positions close to goal which is where most goals are scored. Someone in the right place at the right time could have a field day playing ahead of those three

posted on 21/1/21

a goal every 229 minutes is still comparable to Raul a goal every 275 minutes. Fabio one every 345 minutes. Neto one every 385 minutes. Podence one every 376 minutes, Adama one every god knows

Jota one every 100 mins

Wolves seem to have confirmed John Ruddy will be in goal tomorrow

Another player returning from injury who is fit to play if selected is Otasowie

thats a shame I'd have liked to have seen sondergaard get a game, he'd gain more benefit than Ruddy

On the plus side, he’s not from a country that we have got too many players from already, That would be asking for trouble.

Brazilian is as good as Portuguese though no?

Oh yes, they do speak Portuguese don't they? That never bodes well, according to some on 'ere.

Good win for Burnley at Anfield, they're only 3 points behind us now with a game in hand.

Starting to look like we are a little fortunate that there are three awful teams this season or we would be in a relegation scrap.

Marcal is going to be out of action for quite a few weeks yet after needing an operation on his groin injury

Its looking a bit precarious at the moment and form is terrible but with players coming back from injury and a new striker in next week I'm still reasonably confident that we'll finish mid table.

Slumping Wolves take on Non-League Chorley while ineligible new striker looks on. Holy crap, we've been here before....but I'm going for a Fabio hattrick. Wonder what his celebration looks like?

posted on 22/1/21

Wonder how the pitch is looking at Chorley, its not stopped raining in Lancashire all week. Forecast looks dryer for today though. All about attitude tonight, get your shots on target and get the job done.

posted on 22/1/21

we have to beat Chorley and handsomely not sure our morale can take a scrappy 1-0
